I guess it's realistic but GOD DAMNIT is it frustrating to plan your recruiting out perfectly only to see a bigger school with overinflated pitches come on to your top prospect a few weeks after you do and wrestle him away.

LOL. No lie, that is the first commit I've ever stolen that was a soft commit to another school.

That makes up for Cal stealing my tight end and Central Michicken stealing my FB.

Wait, there was a 5-star FB? It says Georgia Tech signed a 5-star FB? I didn't know there were any this year, or ever in this game.

Pfft. Every one of your pitches is at least two steps better than mine except for maybe two. I don't understand how you bigger programs don't rake in every recruit...

Recruiting in the SEC is insane. Once one of the schools gets a lead on you, you might as well stop recruiting. That's why I said this was on the first time I've actually "stolen" a recruit that was soft committed to another school. If LSU, Alabama, Auburn, or whomever, gets a soft commit, there is no stopping them, unless you are Ole Miss and you cheat with under the table money and pay the fathers of the recruits.

The reason is because they are putting just as much time as you are into it with equal pitches.

The recruiting parity in this league is amazing.

Elite recruits -> Mostly Ole Miss, Some to Alabama, Michigan, etc
Top 75 recruits -> Big CPU teams because everyone recruits with their eyes closed.
Remaining :4stars: -> Bigger schools who should be grabbing higher rated recruits but can't.

What do you mean by, "everyone recruits with their eyes closed"?

I don't know, just seem like some guys order their board and then just give them 60 minutes until they sign. I'm not talking about anyone in particular. But I do see a lack of strategy with some of the more powerful programs. Ole Miss's pitches aren't worlds better than half the league.

I suppose i am different than most because i really dont care what star my recruits have, i go after certain skills/attributes, i could give a fuck what they are rated.... so if that means other schools get the "elite" recruits so be it... if they dont fit what i want to do... i dont want them...

I do this to a point, but there are certain recruits (Keil Keenen comes to mind) that I have a pipeline advantage and still lose to OM on. I *think* I have maximized my strategy, but maybe he knows something I don't.

My game is probably going to say restart. I got to the cointoss and it just froze and I could not do anything. I'll replay it this afternoon when I wake up.

My strategy is piss poor. Someone needs to write up a recruiting for dummies paper and email it to me.
