Michigan took down Iowa. Iowa started going for every 4th down in the 2nd quarter, down 28-7. When a user opponent starts doing that, along with onside kicks every time and going for 2 on every TD conversion, the game gets childish and old. Iowa's Coach did just this to try and fluster the Wolverines. He ran a version of the same 4 WR pass play or EMPTY pass play EVERY SINGLE PLAY OF THE GAME. This can be seen by his 14 rush attempts to his 56 pass attempts. Very poor sportmanship by Iowa as Michigan did not pass the ball the entire second half and could run various plays to score at any time. The final score ended up being 87-57, a blowout by the Wolverines - but overall a pretty lame user game. I hate when guys take the football out of the game and turn it into a video game only...

Denard Robinson had 7 TD's on the day. in the first half, going (12-15, 269, 5 TD) through the air and (9, 144, 2) on the ground. The Wolverines played pretty good Defense even though the score may tell another story. The Michigan D hurt 2 Iowa QB's on their way to 4 Sacks and 4 Fumble Recoveries, two of which went for TDs. The first went for 64 yds by MLB Kenny Demens, the second turned out to be the play of the game. Safety Thomas Gordon took a goaline fumble after a hit stick 101 yds for a score and a new school record.

Michigan had a number of recruits sign this week, including 4 5-Star Recruits.

The Wolverines hit the road next week to take on Minnesota.
