    TMFL SEASON 2 POWER RANKINGS

    1. Patriots

Hard to go against the defending Superbowl Champions. However there is a sense around the Lg that the team took a step back on defense however that has yet to be soon. In other news Randy Moss has returned to reunite with Tom Brady.

    2. Dolphins

Dolphins team looks much better than the team the finished with last season. Reigning NFL MVP Ryan Tannehill is much better this season and the Dolphins OL is much improved. Adding Brian Urlacher makes this defense much better.

    3. NY Jets

The Jets are much better this season. This was a tough choice between the Jets and the Bills. I think it will be a battle for the AFC East Cellar this season.

    4. Bills

Bills tanked last season everyone knows it. Then they went out and went Spygate on the Lg and had a good draft and that still lands him in last place in this Power Rankings this will be updated every 4 weeks of game action.

With LSU gone, I'll do a quick update here.

    Buffalo Bills

The Bills are off to a fast start to 4-0 this season, including 2 big division wins over the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets. They also have 2 close wins over the Browns and Broncos. They have another big division game against the Dolphins this week which would be huge for them if they could pull off another win. With the Dolphins without a coach right now though, it could be a little easier to get the win than expected. The Bills have lost C. J. Spiller to a broken collarbone for an extended period of time, so it'll be interesting to see how these Bills do without him. Needless to say, the Bills are having a much better season than last year and look to compete for a division championship.

    New England Patriots

The Patriots are 3-1 this season losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers without their coach. Other than that, the defending Super Bowl champs have looked solid. Unfortunately, Randy Moss and Rob Gronkowski were both hurt in a game against the Chiefs last week. Moss will miss the next 8-10 weeks, while Gronkowski will be out the next 2 weeks. With a big game against the Bills next week, it'll be interesting to see if Gronk sits or plays. Moss being out may not look to be a big deal to most, but with him taking the place of Wes Welker, Moss being out is huge for the Patriots with the season he was having. The Pats have also lost Yarmaiah Bell for the season.

    Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins were off to a pretty good start at 3-1, with their only loss coming to the Buffalo Bills. Now they're without a coach, it's going to be interesting to see what type of season the Dolphins have. The Dolphins did get a big division win over the Jets last week 21-20, to move to 1-1 in the division. The Dolphins did lose Greg Childs for 6 weeks, but as mentioned, their season is going to depend on who takes over the next few weeks.

    New York Jets

The Jets started this season off great with a big win over the Giants, but have lost their last 4 games, including 2 division games to the Dolphins and Bills. The Jets do have some serious injury problems though losing Laron Landry for the season after giving him a huge pay day in the off-season. They also lost receivers Jeremy Kerley and Craig Williams for 8 and 6 weeks respectively. The Jets are going to have to fight through injuries, which maybe their week 7 bye will help with.

It's looking like it's the Bills division to lose. They're undefeated after coming off a convincing win over the defending Super Bowl Champion Patriots, and have already swept the Dolphins in the season series. This is a completely different Bills team than last season after acquiring Brock Oswelier for a 3rd round pick last offseason. Osweiler has proven to be the difference. With the Dolphins picking up a new coach, at 4-4, time will tell what type of team they'll become. With the Bills already sweeping the season series though, it seems that it would be near impossible for the Dolphins to win the division. The Jets, after picking up a big win over the Giants in week 1, lost 4 straight, but now have won 2 straight. After dealing with some key injuries, the Jets could be back into the swing of things and ready to make a run.

    Another AFC Update:

    Standings:
    Bills- 10-0
    Patriots- 7-4
    Dolphins- 6-4
    Jets- 6-5

Needless to say, this is the Bills division. They have done everything but locked up a division championship. Pretty good for team finishing last in the division and had one of the worst records in the league just a year ago. The Patriots, Dolphins, and Jets are all fighting for 2nd place, and possibly 3rd place because their is a possibility that the AFC East could take both of the Wildcard spots. It's not likely, but still possible.

    Division Individual Statistic Leaders-

    Passing

    Bills- Brock Oswieler- 159-227 2240 19 TD 6 INT 1 Rush TD

    Patriots- Tom Brady- 223-339 3465 27 TD 8 INT 1 Rush TD

    Dolphins- Ryan Tannehill- 159-297 2202 17 TD 10 INT

    Jets- Mark Sanchez- 201-305 3060 17 TD 15 INT

    Rushing

Bills- Fred Jackson- 151 ATT 532 4 TD

Patriots- Michael Turner- 186 ATT 700 6 TD

Dolphins- Reggie Bush- 121 ATT 554 2 TD

Jets- Joe McKnight- 207 ATT 946 7 TD

    Receiving

Bills- Stevie Johnson 47 REC 713 4 TD

Patriots- Rob Gronkowski- 41 REC 684 2 TD

Dolphins- Rueben Randle- 26 REC 382 3 TD

Jets- Dustin Keller- 59 REC 875 5 TD

In an attempt to shake up its luckluster offense, the Dolphins will be moving the struggling Reggie Bush to WR. Willis McGahee and Lamar Miller be sharing the running back duties going forward.
