Perfect start to the season coach. Does this team deserved to be ranked?

Very meaningful game against Oklahoma St. if you win you will be in a great position to contend for the South a loss gives you a tough road to get back in it. How have you prepared your players for this?

Who has displayed leadership with their play for you on both sides of the ball?

Are the recruits starting to notice TAMU with the hot start?

Well even though we've won our 1st 4 games, we haven't beaten a good team and still allowing over 31 points per game. Maybe week 5 we'll see the Aggies in the top 25.

Every game in the Big 12 is tough. Our guys had a great week of practice and they hitting their stride just in time for conference play. It's important to get that 1st win under you belt. But we still must face Tech, OU, Nebraska, and then end with rival Texas. So we'll how we stand after that stretch.

Who has displayed leadership with their play for you on both sides of the ball?

On offense, Cyrus Gray has been a great leader. Even though he isn't starting or getting many touches, when his number is called he gets the job done. Whether its returning kicks/punts, running between the tackles, or catching the ball he is always going 100%.

DE Spencer Nealy has stepped up big this year. With most teams scheming to stop Von Miller, Nealy has brought his game to a whole new level. He leads the team in sacks with 3 and tied in tackles for loss.

Are the recruits starting to notice TAMU with the hot start?

We have gotten some notice, but nothing to get exited about yet. Its still hard with programs like Texas and OU, and now that TCU has gotten better they are starting to show up on many recruits top 3. A few more big wins and things will fall into place. We're not worried, those that want to be Aggies will be Aggies.

Big test for the aggies this week coach, how do you plan on slowing down the Red raider offense?

Who has stood out for your team this season?

Is a Big 12 championship on the horizon in College Station?

Well we're playing good ball right now, but we are just now hitting the teeth of our schedule. We don't have an easy win left on the schedule. I believe that we asked Jerrod Johnson to do more than he is capable, its time to let Christine Michael and Cyrus Grey pick up some of the burden. A more balanced attack will make our offense more unpredictable and harder to stop.
