Any restrictions on recruiting?
WVU is a MESS!
I vote no! at least for the first 2-3 seasons.....
Im in favor of keeping the same ones in place.
I agree with Bucs
Can we at least get a +1 or a +2 up in here for a couple years?
weren't you the one advocating for more of a challenge? well, here ya go!
Why do you need a plus 1 or 2?
Recruiting rules are the same...some of you have much better teams so we have to keep the rules in place.
Need? not really..... Want? most defenitely.....
6'0 190lb Liberty, TX
TTU pounced early on Jones, who had no initial interest in the Red Raiders. Coaches caught his attention with a win over Ohio State though, and Jones has signed on to be the bell-cow of this recruiting class (even doing some recruiting of his own via Twitter). He has elite speed and quickness, and played both RB/WR in High School. The staff sees him as a WR, but only time will tell. The Raiders are also looking to bring in a strong-armed athlete, another , alongside of Jones to throw him the ball.
Nice pick up Max..... just what the rest of us need, greased lightning on the field for TTU
The Cats pick up one of the 3 viable candidates on their recruiting board by adding power hb Chris Rogers to the class. Chris is 6'0, 215 and will likely get a chance to RS and improve on his decent skill set. He is avg for a rb.
Signed a 6'4" JUCO wideout who will be on the field opening day next year (most of my wideouts are seniors)
recchem2000, I have a feeling you'll have two recruits come week 9. I was hoping to steal them away, but after losing to Penn State, I don't see them coming to Purdue.
Indiana board updated...4 soft commits too...not too bad so far for a 2-4 team
TTU board updated. landed a few Nothing crazy. Got 2 O-Line croots though...
I am going to have to take a bunch of 3 stars this season. Hopefully I can get Tech to go up a star though. Recruiting should be much better for us next year.
I'm still in the running...wooo!
4 more Hoosiers sign...will update board later tonight
The #9 Center Joey Henry will be a Wildcat. At 6'3, 292 he has some size but he's only rated at so I'm interested to see where he pans out.
Illinois' board is updated.... to include the King of Pop! That's right, Michael Jackson is coming to Chambana. Sure, we recruited him as a 3 star FS, but I see some postgame concerts in our future
Purdue picks up their first commitments of the season:
OLB Marcus Porter. He was down to Purdue and Illinios; despite the loss to the Illini, Marcus still chose to come to West Lafayette. He is a decent tackler, but will need to learn to get off blocks.
TE Dennis Daniels. Dennis brings above average athletic ability to the position. He is not much of a blocker and has inconsistent hands, but is not afraid to make the tough catches over the middle.
With 21 available spots open it looks like in-season is only going to bring 14 to 16 signees. Evanston is not an easy sell apparently. Hopefully a winning streak and bowl game to end the season (if I can get Cougs and keep the MSU game interesting) will give a renewed positive vibe in offseason recruiting, and we can pull in some talented boys. There's certainly a spot for kids who want playing time. We're weak and possibly getting weaker at many core positions.
Illinois aint a bad state to recruit tho. Youll have some talent coming in
