Here are the leading candidates for the American League Cy Young. Please lobby for your player, it may sway the voters :)

As is normally the case for "King Felix" Dylema Seattle squad has failed to score enough runs to give this guy the wins he deserves. Here are his stats on the season: 25 GS 109.2 IP 160 HA 50 BB 205 K 2.64 ERA 1.10 WHIP 48.3 VORP 5.7 WAR 3 CG

briosu99 is lucky to have a true ace, and Sabathia has been dominant this year. Stats: 26 GS 197 IP 185 HA 34 BB 174 K 3.24 ERA 1.11 WHIP 43.5 VORP 5.7 WHIP 7 CG 2 SO

Even though he is rebuilding Sharkman37 has not traded away Verlander. Imagine the haul he could get if he did decide to trade him? His stats: 27 GS 199.2 IP 199 HA 60 BB 213 K 3.65 ERA 1.30 WHIP 31.2 VORP 5.5 WAR 5 CG 1 SO

Aagistar has had injury after injury to his pitching staff, but Jon Lester has been healthy all year. His stats: 27 GS 197.2 IP 148 HA 42 BB 194 K 2.41 ERA .96 WHIP 58.3 VORP 5.3 WAR 4 CG 1 SO

    Nice feature PA.

I think there are two things that stand out to me about CC. First is his consistency. He has been the rock of my staff all year as the only guy I could count on to be consistantly great every time he takes the mound. My other guys have been inconsistent at best. The other thing is his ability to pitch deep into games each time. He has 7 complete games, which I believe leads the league, and 2 shutouts as well. This has been huge in getting the bullpen some rest as they have been getting a workout when others start. He is a true ace, not sure where we would be without him.

I can say the same thing about Verlander and add in the fact that nothing says Cy Young better then another no hitter, which Verlander pitched on opening day vs the Red Sox.
That said, they have all had a good year.
