Gentlemen, it is with great regret that I have to inform you that week 2 in our CCM has been completely simmed. I am not sure how it happened, as it appears to have happened just by transferring commissioner duties from within the CCM.

In light of this, we have decided to let the majority decide if we just move forward in week 3 or if we reset the whole CCM. In the event we restarted, we would still recognize all of the existing roster moves up to this point and then start with our Week 1 games again.

While I am sure most would agree that either way this situation sucks, we have no way to go back and must make a decision on how to move forward. Please vote on this poll and feel free to voice any comments or opinions below.

Thank you all for your anticipated cooperation!

I voted to just move forward. Win or loss, I will take what the CPU handed to me. A win isn't as important to me as keeping things moving forward is.

I voted just to move forward also, restarting would probably set us back a couple days if not more. One win or loss shouldn't hurt anybody that much since we'll still have 14 weeks left in the season.

Either way, I would still give saintsdave75 the win in week 1. He deserved it.

I voted to restart. As active as everyone is around here I doubt it would be much of a problem to get everyone to login and make the necessary changes. Having said that, I would be good either way.

EDIT: after posting this I realized that I lost the simmed game and David Harris is injured for 5 weeks so I'm really hoping for a restart now haha

Definitely do not want to restart. I can live with one loss or a bonus win lol

    2 Questions

    1. If we don't know how this happened for sure...isn't it necessary to figure that out, so we don't run into this problem again?

    2. Can anyone tell if major injuries were suffered?

Voted to restart. Don't care either way. Don't care if I won or loss, but do I have any serious injuries after the sim??

as much a I firmly agree to keep moving... the teams that need the development and progression get burned. A franchise thats in a rebuilding stage needs as much XP possible and given the CPU takes over you wont ge the same results as the user. Teams like the Pack, Niners, Gmen... etc you know thts a win in the bag. All im saying is yes it blows, but id personally like to have full control of my teams development, regardless if its 1 week.

ps... i love all of you lol

We can reset any injuries by having you resign and restart your career. Yes, you will lose some coaching XP, but in the grand scheme of things it will be better to get your player back.

It hurts me to move on with an 0-2 record, and specially taking a division loss to Troy and his Packers:mad:. Its my competitive nature what can I say. But I know James deserved our win, and would hate to play him again and whoop his ass;). So I vote to move on....

    1. As I stated in the original post, it happened as I transferred commissioner duties in the CCM. First I have seen it happen; but just to be sure, in the future we would only transfer control when a week is ready to advance.

    2. Doug addressed above.

I think it was said that the week was advanced after a commissioner transfer and they did not know how it advanced the week
