    Any Excel Experts?

I need some help. I want to make a league standings for the TMFL that automatically updates itself. I know for a fact that excel will do it but I have no idea how to input the codes or whatever the sites I visited were talking about. Or maybe something like our rankings system or maybe the standings League Daddy has.

Does anyone know how to make one of these?

Explain in a bit more detail what you want to do.

How are you planning on pulling data into excel to auto update? The web?

Heres a page I found on web queries.

It really just depends on what you want to do and how you want to do it.

That's actually the site that confused the hell outta me.

I'll check this out when I get home, thanks

I want to make a league standings/power rankings excel sheet that automatically updates after information is put in. Basically something like the TF ranking system on excel or somewhere that would let me use one for "free".

    Yeah:D

I'm confused. If all you're trying to do is have 1 field or group of fields update when you manually put in records for a team in excel, all you have to do is reference that field or group of fields elsewhere in the workbook when you're creating your formula.

My guess is you're thinking along the lines of a web query. You create a workbook that pulls user records or what have you from the web and then updates a rankings sheet in excel.

Ok, I understand the output you want, but what input are you going to use?

Input... data... where are you getting all the data you're going to output in your spreadsheet?

Confused... but I found exactly what I was trying to ask.... I wanted to know how to generate a table... I found them on OS but it doesn't save them or put them in correct order (i.e: 3-1 team below a 2-3 team)

Not sure of this would be your answer but could you use a separate field to calc the win percent and then sort based on that to solve this issue?

Hey man, I saw Excel in the subject and had to take a look. I have an excel file that I created last year to track standings. I found the file and updated it with this season's NFL schedule. You can input scores and owner information, and the standings will automatically generate once scores are entered.

Here is the link to download the file: Standings File

Here is an example of what you can get from it:
