    Any room for me?

I had Forza 2 and it was a nice game...I tipped my girl to get it today since it's on sale for like 35 somewhere...she said she "got" me....we'll see!

I'm predicting she did get it though...I'd love to join you guys...I really do suck at the driving games though lol.

I'm hoping to get the game for Christmas... it is honestly the only thing that I actually WANT. I can hold my own, and have always been solid at racing games. After some time playing it and getting back adjusted, and used to racing actual people and not AI cars, I would love to get in the mix. I'll post back if and when I get the game.

Race as much as possible.....us the braking line or racing line and slowly start removing the assists.

You need as much money as possible and then you can start building cars for the weekly races.

I definitely will be using the braking line, and the only assist I will likely use will be ABS to start... hopefully getting off that at some point.

I WANT THE GAME SO BADLY!!!!

Basis, imo the ABS is the easiest assist to turn off. Don't bother with it. Just don't mash the trigger. You will be in much more control of your braking. I think the cars are easier to drive this year without the assists on.

WOO HOO! THANK YOUUUUU SANTA! A new 20 gig HDD to install the game to and Forza 3!

I'll be getting up to speed (pun intended) for the next week, and can't wait to mix it up with you guys! Already did some racing vs. the CPU last night and man have I missed racing games.

I'm pretty sure you mean ABS. And I agree.

The braking line is really important for new players. Because with Forza, not only do you have all these tracks to learn, but you're driving them with umpteen different classes of cars. R1 cars can stop in a 3rd of the time it takes for an A class car to stop and so on. You need that thing at least to start with.

Congrats Basis I'm glad we'll have some new blood to kinda keep us alive lol.

Yes helli you are correct...I meant ABS. YEah leave the braking line on but turn off the driving line........it is distracting if anything. Only reason for the driving line is if you are TOTALLY new to driving and racing games and need to learn how to navigate turns. But you can just follow the cpu and watch what they do.
