Season 1 Unit Grades after 10 games
Patrick Peterson is a star in the making.
Quarterback : C+
Too many interceptions, consistency needs to improve if the Cardinals are going to challenge for a Wild Card berth.
Wells has run hard and has not benefited from the pass happy offense. He has a load of TD's. He lacks game breaking speed however.
Wide Receiver Tight Ends: A-
Led by Fitzgerald and Heap this group has been solid. Very few drops and are very good tacklers due to all the interceptions.
Offensive Line: C
Protection has not been great. This unit needs an upgrade in the off season to say the least. Run blocking is fairly better than pass protection though.
Defensive Line: D
Have they done anything?
The occasional big play by Stewart Bradley gives this unit a higher grade. This unit needs to make more plays.
Defensive Backs: B
They have been exposed due to the lack of pressure at times and the injury to Adrian Wilson. This group has been solid though especially with the progression of Patrick Peterson.
I think our D lines both deserve the same ratings.
28 players have expiring contracts
Who will the Cardinals re-sign?
CB Richard MarshallCB Gregory TolerWR Terence ToliverOT Mario HendersonDE Calais CampbellOG Deuce LutuiOT Brandon KeithWR Early Doucet
These guys are on the top priority list.
Positions of need.

ARIZONA OFF SEASON
QB - will likely draft a QB in the late rounds hoping for a diamond in the rough
RB- Signed Arain Foster and traded Beanie Wells for DT Pat Sims, also cut Alfonso Smith. Staff was rumored to be Ok with going with Williams as the starter, but with Foster available and a bundle of cap space it was a no brainer.
WR/TE - cut Mike Leach
OL - Will need to draft a T or two, jury is out on RFA Deuce Latui, signing G Donald Thomas doesn't help Deuce's chances. Added C Chris Meyers for depth.
DL- Signed DT Tony Brown and traded for DT Pat Sims, are they going 4-3???? With no moves made in FA with DE's the Cardinals show their hand in the draft.
LB - signed veteran OLB David Bowens and let a host of them go in FA are they going to a 4-3? With the improvment of O'Brein Schofield, are Joey Porter's days numbered in the deser Cut veteran Paris Lenon.
DB- The offseason work put in by Patrick Peterson has elevated him to elite status. Added depth with FS James Sanders
Special Teams- signed Punter Kyle Larson Kicker Jay Feeley is an RFA he was huge for the Cardinals last season, will they bring him back?
Team statement: "We are ecstatic with acquisitions we have made. We must continue to make effective moves to be able to compete in the NFC West."
