The D'Backs were able to find Montero's replacement off waivers in Rosario and Wade Miley has come up to fill in admirabley for Kennedy, posting a 2-3 in 5 starts with a 3.19 ERA. Thinking that they could use a cheap veteran like Jeff Karstens as their number 5 starter has come back to bite GM Techniclipee in the ass as Karstens has shit the bed in every start. But with the bullpen pitching well the last couple weeks and Drew and Paul Goldshmidts bats picking up the 5 game lead the Dodgers have is far from insurmountable. Outlook The Diamond Backs defense has struggled all season and needs to improve if they hope to contend so look for rule 5 pick up Omar Luna who is hitting .364 in 55 AB's and has one of the best infield gloves in the league to see more playing time. Also look for the D'Backs to make moves to sure up the end of their rotation wether they usemoves from outside the organization or call up young phenom Tyler Skaggs from AA Reno.
