1.) The Sun Devils are looking to challenge for the Pac12 title as well as playing in a January bowl game. With returning QB, RB, and an all american MLB coach thinks that this team has a chance to really make some noise.

2.) Junior MLB Vontaze Burfict will be leading the 4-3 attack for the defense. ASU returns a bunch of starters all over the defense and with almost every skill position player on offense coming back, this could be a go for it all year for ASU.

3.) The Senior that the Sun Devils will miss the most is DT Lawrence Guy. He is a pre-season all american and an anchor to the defensive 4 up front. With only 1 underclassman DT, it will be position of dire need to fill for this seasons recruiting

1.) Florida IS that good. We had no answer for anything that the Gators did in our opening loss. Chris Raineys speed was something that our linebackers could not keep up with. If we sent a blitz, Rainey would simply run to the outside to avoid it and with his speed he can get to the edge faster then anyone I have seen. ASU did make some mistakes that would have kept the game closer. After a Brantley pick, we threw a pick at the Florida 10yd line. Also, after our starting QB Threet was knocked out of the game, our backup QB on his second drive with the team got hit as he threw and the ball went directly into a D-linemans hands and was returned for a score.

2.) Soxandgators plays so well on both sides of the ball. There was no way we were going to stop Rainey and the offense, but on defense we couldnt get much done because of how he plays with his safety. It was almost like soxandgators knew what play I was calling and what WR I was looking for because he would always have him doubled up in user coverage.

3.) ASU is going back to Tempe to lick some of our wounds before our opening Pac 12 game against the always hated USC. QB Threet should be healthy for this upcoming game and should be able to get the Sun Devils back on track. Against Florida we got stuck in bascially a pass only offense, ASU is looking to balance that offense out and to keep the USC defense off guard. On defense ASU will look to play a little more conservative to open the game. We threw some blitzes at Florida early and we got burned on some big plays and we were never really able to recover.
