So the season is now 4 weeks old and the Arkansas Razorbacks are 3-0. With wins over Virginia, #7 Georgia and #19 Alabama. All 3 games the defense has brought there A game by forcing turnovers, blocking punts and scoring there own TD's. The offense is being lead my transfer Quarterback from michigan Ryan Mallett. Coach Petrino had an interview earlier this week and answered a few question on his transfer Quarterback from Michigan. He was asked now that you have seen Ryan against live play what do you think of his potential in leading this Arkansas Razorbacks team, Coach Petrino responded " Ryan has an unbelievable amount of talent, we are just progressing him along nicely dont wanna rush him into a new system. This is Coach Petrino's first year under the headset for the Arkansas Razorbacks and its starting off with a bang. Please tune back into the Arkasas Blog next week as more updates will be coming up on this 2009-2010 Arkansas Razorbacks season.

Arkansas keeps findint a way to win. Ranked #13 in the nation Arkansas welcomed in a tough Auburn team. The game started off with Auburn jumping out on Arkansas 14-0 in the first quarter but Arkansas got there act together and was able to pull out the win. Although Arkansas Quarterback Ryan Mallet went down with a Broken toe early in the 3rd quarter backup quarterback Drew Wilson was able to bring his team together. After the game Mallet was evaluated at the hospital and is said to miss 3 weeks with his broken toe. So next week when Arkansas has to travel to #1 Florida Drew Wilson will be leading them into the swamp. Look forward to this game as it should be a dandy.

    Arkansas and National Championship?

The Arkansas Razorbacks had to travel to Gainesville this week and play Florida in "The Swamp" Many people came into the game thinking Florida's speed along with all 11 starters coming back on defense would be to much for little ole arkansas. But Arkansas came into the game thinking other wise, Florida started off the game driving right down the field and going up 7-0. But Arkansas wasnt about to give in just yet as Junior backup quarterback Tyler Wilson answered with his own touchdown pass to the tight end. This game was back and fourth as no one could grab ahold of it. Finally in the 4th quarter Arkansas up by 4 the game finally was wrapped up as Tebow was hit hard and fumbled. Arkansas picked up the fumble and took it back 67 yards the other way. Florida would answer with a touchdown and a two point conversion but Arkansas recovered the onside kick and took 2 knees and that was that. Arkansas came into the game ranked #9 in the nation but with upsetting #1 Florida and also #7 Vandy going down they could be looking at perhaps a top 7 ranking. Tune in next week as Arkansas looks to keep there miracle season alive

Arkansas opened the 2010 season with an impressive win over the Louisville Cardinals 41-15. The game was never really a contest with the Razorbacks getting out to a 24-0 lead before halftime. rkansas was led by their outstanding running back Broderick Greene who rushed for 161 yards and 2 TD's on 31 carries. QB Ryan Mallet was 13-19 with 2 TD's and 182 yards through the air. Arkansas tallied 373 yards of total offense and failed to turn the ball over. The Razorbacks will host Nebraska next week in a Big 12/ SEC showdown.
