The Athlon second-team preseason All-American has started all 38 games of his college career and will be counted on as a leader this year. Swanson is also of 44 players included on the spring watch list for the Rimington Trophy. DT Byran Jones will be looked to as a leader on the defensive side of the ball. Jones started 11 of 12 games last year and will be joined on the D-line by 2 other Sr's and one Jr, all of whom have starting experience for the Hogs. Behind these upper-classmen will be a lot of youth, but there seems to be some talent there. Several true freshmen could contribute immediately, but three to definitely keep an eye on are RB Alex Collins of Plantation, FL, TE Hunter Henry of Little Rock, AR, and OT Denver Kirkland of Miami, FL. Much of this season's success will likely rest squarely on the shoulders of new starting QB Brandon Allen. If he is able to take care of the ball and make the correct reads, then there is still enough talent on this roster for the Razorbacks to be competitive in the SEC. If not, then it will likely be another ugly year in Fayetteville.
