Razorbacks Look to Rebound in 2013
Head Hog Bret Bielema will have his work cut out for him in his first season as Razorbacks Head Coach.
The Arkansas Razorbacks enter a new era in 2013 with a new staff, a new offensive system, and several new faces on the field as well. Here's what the depth is expected to look like this fall:
QB- Brandon Allen (So., 6-3, 214)

LG- Mitch Smothers (So., 6-4, 313), Johnathan McClure (Jr., 6-4, 321)
    C- Travis Swanson (Sr., 6-5, 314), Luke Charpentier (Jr., 6-4, 312)
RG- Brey Cook (Jr., 6-7, 318), Cordale Boyd (Fr., 6-3, 311)
RT- Grady Ollison (So., 6-5, 274), Chris Stringer (Jr., 6-7, 318)
DE- Chris Smith (Sr., 6-3, 266), JaMichael Winston (Fr., 6-5, 254)
DT- Robert Thomas (Sr., 6-3, 318), Darius Philon (Fr., 6-3, 284)
DT- Byran Jones (Sr., 6-2, 310), DeMarcus Hodge (So., 6-1, 340)
DE- Trey Flowers (Jr., 6-4, 256), Deatrich Wise Jr. (Fr., 6-6, 265)
SLB- Braylon Mitchell (Jr., 6-3, 229), Austin Jones (Sr., 6-2, 230)
MLB- Daunte Carr (Jr., 6-3, 229), Robert Atiga (Sr., 6-3, 237)
WLB- Jarrett Lake (Sr., 6-3, 220), Otha Peters (So., 6-2, 232)
CB- Tevin Mitchel (Jr., 6-0, 181), Carroll Washington (Jr., 6-0, 182)
SS- Rohan Gaines (So., 5-11, 190), Tiquention Coleman (Jr., 5-10, 198)
FS- Eric Bennett (Sr., 6-0, 191), Alan Turner (Jr., 6-0, 198) OR Kelvin Fisher Jr. (So., 5-11, 200)
CB- Jared Collins (Fr., 6-0, 169), Will Hines (So., 6-1, 191)
    K- Zach Hocker (Sr., 6-0, 182), John Henson (Jr., 5-11, 165)
    P -Zach Hocker (Sr., 6-0, 182), Toby Baker (Fr., 6-3, 193)

    SNP- Alan D'Appollonio (Jr., 6-0, 221), Drew Gorton (So., 6-0, 196)
Center Travis Swanson will be an anchor for not only the offensive line, but the whole offense. The Athlon second-team preseason All-American has started all 38 games of his college career and will be counted on as a leader this year. Swanson is also of 44 players included on the spring watch list for the Rimington Trophy.
DT Byran Jones will be looked to as a leader on the defensive side of the ball. Jones started 11 of 12 games last year and will be joined on the D-line by 2 other Sr's and one Jr, all of whom have starting experience for the Hogs. Behind these upper-classmen will be a lot of youth, but there seems to be some talent there.
Several true freshmen could contribute immediately, but three to definitely keep an eye on are RB Alex Collins of Plantation, FL, TE Hunter Henry of Little Rock, AR, and OT Denver Kirkland of Miami, FL.
Much of this season's success will likely rest squarely on the shoulders of new starting QB Brandon Allen. If he is able to take care of the ball and make the correct reads, then there is still enough talent on this roster for the Razorbacks to be competitive in the SEC. If not, then it will likely be another ugly year in Fayetteville.
