Once again the ACC is making it's case for one of the best conferences in The Hurt Locker. Suprisingly all user teams have suffered one loss, but they are all out of conference. With conference play starting very soon for all teams, the stakes will be getting much higher.

For the first time in recent memory, the 'Canes are ranked higher than Boston College. A 3 point loss to the defending National Champions and in State rivals, Florida probably boosted us in the standings. Unfortunately for Miami it doesn't get any easier. After a cakewalk of a game against Virginia, they travel to Nebraska to face the undefeated Nebraska Cornhuskers.

CB Keion Payne has been the playmaker for the defense this year, and already has 3 Interceptions which ties him for 1st in the conference.

In recruiting news the biggest recruit of note has been :4stars:DE Dwayne Connor who will bolster what has to this season been an inadequate pass rush.

Boston College is currently ranked #10 in the country and their loss was against a very good Oklahoma team by 1 point. They have a very tough schedule this year, and follow up this game with a game against Soda's Clemson squad. I am sure both teams will be playing at a high level, as the loser takes their first conference loss.

MLB Steele Divitto picks up where Kuechly left off last year and has quickly established himself as the leader of the defense. 20 tackles (3FL), 2 sacks and 1 FF make him a serious force.

Although they haven't recruited a playmaker, they picked up a solid offensive lineman in :4stars: RG David Franklin.

Clemson has been impressive this year, and the pollsters agree as they are ranked at #16 in the country. They suffered a tough loss to Georgia 27-21, and rebounded big especially last week in a 30-0 drubbing of Maryland. As was mentioned earlier, they face a big test against 2 time ACC Champion Boston College. A win, and the Tigers are legitimized. A loss, and they take a step back.

The best player on this team is easily QB Tajh Boyd. He's already thrown for 800 yards, and has a very nice 5 TD to 2 INT ratio. Last season was a good year for him, but Clemson fans expect bigger this year.

In recruiting news, they haven't landed any big time recruits, but they did land a :3stars: Center in Jeremy Davidson

The Hokies aren't getting much love in the polls this year, as they are the lowest ranked ACC team. They were beaten by a very good West Virginia team and went back across the border licking their wounds. Expect this to fire up Virginia Tech, as no body can be taken lightly. This week they take on the surprising 0-3 Florida State Seminoles, in a dangerous game.

HB David Wilson is also a surprise this year. He is starting off very slowly and only has 219 yards rushing and 3 TD to this point. So right now, Id have to say ROLB Tariq Edwards is the team's MVP so far. he has 24 tackles (4FL) and 1 FF.

Also concerning is that Virginia Tech does not have any commits yet on the recruiting front.

I think it's the Canes year to win the ACC. That secondary you have gave me all sorts of fits. If the offense starts to click, look the hell out.

Yeah the secondary is really strong. I dont have a playmaker at wideout so its making it tough this year. My QB can make all the throws, but without streeter its tough.
