I like him a lot from what I've seen in that game. They haven't played much because of the postponed league and all that. It's finally starting though. I like him on that right side. He's got good skills and looks like a hard worker as well. He's probably going to be one of my favorites in the team, along with most other fans. They're supposedly going after Asamoah Gyan, hope that works out as well before the league starts.
I think eventually you'll see his major flaw, which is his inability to stay on his feet. If he focused on going through tackles instead of diving, he'd be a MUCH better player. He has great pace and is excellent when running with the ball. Only issue is he'd rather dive than just stumble and keep his balance.
Sounds like he'll fit us just perfect. Turkish league is all about manipulating the ref and provoking the fans against him. Great signing.
Yeah but he got an Arsenal like defensive effort and result, probably have nightmares tonight. Or a perfectly tanned piece of ass.
We have a new Spanish midfield maestro. Plus, the game ended up 2-2. Real will win La Liga this year.
Anybody catch that game this morning. It was quite an exciting game, watch it on ESPN3 (I'm guessing it'll be there) if you haven't. No spoilers yet.
Well than that just sucks if you missed it. If you didn't I hope you enjoyed it, if you could figure out which team was which ofcourse, since you've been having trouble recognizing the Arsenal Jersey lately. I actually saw that jersey at Nike outlet earlier today and got excited, but it was still $60, which is not a great deal. Maybe when it gets cheaper. It's my favorite Arsenal jersey ever.
I saw it. Each year it's my goal to watch more games than the last in their entirety and as man as I can live.
They played very well in the second half. Arsene must have said something at half. It was a great performance. I'm not sure what to make about us celebrating like we won the league after a game against a team we should always compete with. Mertesacker needs to start acting like he's 6'6" though.....I mean come on ya douche.
Mertesacker has the Peter Crouch problem. He doesn't fucking jump. He just stretches upward or leans and then someone beats him to the ball because they can jump above his outstretched 6'6 body.
Could not disagree more with the celebration. We have been trashed in the media, and that was a HUGE result for us. Winning at Stamford Bridge is no easy task---Chelsea has gone entire seasons without losing there in the not so distant past. We were missing our 2 best defenders, best midfielder, and are still breaking in our new signings. It was also big for the team as it showed we can hang with anyone in the EPL. Agree on Mertersacker. He is a solid CB, but he will have a fight on his hands when Sagna come back to full fitness. Koscielny has been the 2nd best player on the team this season behind RvP. He will not be bumped from the backline for Per as things stand right now.
Good Article here on Keeping the Faith. Something I had to remind some of you bitches to do in this very thread...smh
You disagree? I didn't say the celebration was a bad thing, I just said I didn't know what to make out of it haha. But yeah, Kos has been very good. I knew he would be though from the first time I saw him. I could tell he had some potential once he got used to the Premier League.
"Premier League for the first time in 20 years, sits at home in case suffered "door black", stingy Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and their fans once again caught in an angry condemnation. Giroux in the first five minutes on the early break, but failed to bring luck to the home team, the door of the gunmen was subsequently ripped Vera three times, scored twice in the Turk who will be almost a gunman penetrated the defense, a : 3 defeat to Arsenal fans feel humiliated.
