Is offensive/defensive line play different/more realistic?

Is it "true" that "no tackle is the same"???

Will this alleviate the shitty OL play to a certain degree. When my OL or FB just watches a guy come across his faced, and the DL tries to two hand touch me from the side, do I still go down like sack of bricks, or do i run through said arm tackle? I realize i may be slowed, but will it still look like a sniper somewhere in the stadium shot just hit me with a kill shot?

Same thing on the corners. Will a corner who ran around a block be able to down me when he is chasing me? I mean not have described that scenario, but I am assuming you know what I mean.

it definitely plays a part.. there is no more major clipping (two animations merging), each player has his own space and you must respect it if you don't want collision animation.

No more "getting skinny" through a hole that really isn't there.. if you can't see it, you can't run through it.

it's much more dynamic.. i've seen some bad ass animations were they fight for the ball or the defender continues playing the ball even after the WR catches it.. ie: popping it out with his hand.

yes, if a defender just gets a hand on you.. it's unlikely you will go down... you run will be affected in some way, but not a sure tackle.

well, i can't say that for sure.. but it does bring a very organic feel to the game.

Do you know if NCAA will use the same RTP engine also?

Can you discuss how it affects the use of the speed and special moves? Spin/juke/hurdle/lean/stiffarm etc

I didn't notice any abnormal effects... i did see some akward arm angles and leg splits.. but i saw the game in ALPHA and i know they were still working on tuning those things. The engine seems to integrate seamlessly into the environment of special moves and speed bursts.

no real impact on ball physics.... that is more of the new pass trajectories stuff. I do agree the ball needs better physics though.

Any noticeable effects on weather? How is the controller response as far as branching out animations when players interact? (Loaded question, latter )

there really isn't the hardcore "trapped in animation" feel.. i won't say you have complete control at every moment.. but it feels very organic.

So with the new engine there will be no DTs running down RBs like Jhavid Best from behind?

It depends if that player is at top speed or not. This still has a lot to do with threshold and accel. Fortunately, you can edit these in CCM.

how often do you see gang tackles or double hits? will the additional players still persue or just fall away if more than one guy gets there to tackle first before the others?
