LF Josh Willingham
RP Brad Zeigler
SP Zach Greinke
not getting an approval from me on this trade. Brewers are sending an ace starter for a bench guy and a closer. Just doesnt seem like an even trade to me
A bench guy and a closer? Go look at the players stats in game. Willingham has mid 70s power on both sides, which is exactly what the Brewers are looking for. And Ziegler is not only a good pitcher, hes a submariner who has a wicked slider. Good luck finding one of those on the market. Brewers already have a lefty submariner, and now would have a righty to go with him. He had just won the bid on Ben Sheets, so Greinke fills two gaps with him not losing a SP in the process.
Seems to make perfect sense to me.
sorry you all feel this way. not a problem. and pacalon, even if it makes sence personel wise, i see that the overall "impact" talent is different. its all good.
I understand the value of a reliever, but you're trading away a Cy Young pitcher for a good reliever and a decent outfielder.
I can't approve this one either.
im not sweating it guys. thats why we post trades.
