ROOKIE SPOTLIGHT Jake Matthews will be plugged in at RT for his rookie season. Jake has played all over the offensive line in his career. Some speculate that he will be eventually placed at LT to protect Matt Ryan's blindside for the rest of Ryan's career. I'm sure he has received plenty of tips from his Hall of Famer father Bruce Matthews. Jake's father was a 14 Time Pro Bowl Line man. Jake immediatley improves the Offensive Line of the Atlanta Falcons. It is rumored that staff preferred Matthews over earlier selected OL Greg Robinson. Verdict: Jake Matthews will be a fixture on the Falcons line for a long long time.
ROOKIE SPOTLIGHT Ra'Shede Hageman - He is a big physical player from Minnesota. He was deemed one of the top DT prospects in the recent draft. Mike Mayock called him a "Definite First Round Talent". Verdict: Ra'Shede Hageman will be a disruptive force on the Atlanta Falcons defensive line soon enough.
