You need to create a thread titled

'Team Name Front Office - Current Season '

Saints Front Office - Season 1

    --------------------------------

Inside you will track all of your trades, signings, and if you drop anybody.

If you wish to release a player you need to put who you are dropping and their total cap hit. (That will be the total BONUS salary of their remaining contract). See the 2nd post here for more details.

    Such as:

    Saints drop MLB Vilma
    Cap Hit: 1,500,000

    -----------------------------

After EACH POST you need to put your new Roster # and Cap # AND a Cap Hit #. An example of mine started is here: http://forums.traditionsportsonline.com/threads/saints-front-office-season-1.62840/

    *VERY IMPORTANT ADDITTION*

You must track your cap hits in this thread. My League Manager does not track the cap hits for you.

Here's how cap hits work. . .it's really simple. The bonus is the guys cap hit. That means if you drop a player you take a cap hit of the value of that player. For simplification purposes here, you will take the ENTIRE cap hit in one season. That means if you have a player with 2 years left on his deal, with a one million dollar bonus for each season (2 mil total) then you would just take a cap hit of $2 million dollars right away instead of having to track it over multiple seasons.

Also, currently you do not carry a cap hit for trades. The contract in full is handed over to the players new team.

This means that you need to track the cap hits here (and your overall Cap $) as MLM won't factor in cap hits for us. Keep that in mind as you manage your front office!
