The Tigers roll into Happy Valley and win CONVINCINGLY with an efficient offense and suffocating defense.

With over 300 yards on the ground the Tigers rolled into Lubbock and won in dominating fashion. McCalebb had over 200+ yards rushing and could not be stopped. The Defense allowed 17 points, 14 came off Auburn TOs in their own territory. Super Soph JUCO recruit Josh Todd added TD runs of 16 and 14 in his first action as a Tiger in garbage time.

In recruiting news, Auburn lost out on its top prospect Brock Kennedy (5 star scrambling QB) to Miami.

Don't blame this game on the Defense; they played one hell of a game. The only negative about the D is butterfingers. They dropped 3 ints while Ole Miss seemed to have stick'em on their hands, intercepting all 4 passes that they had a shot to make a play on. The Offense played like S**T. 5 turnovers led to 16 Ole Miss points (1 fumble returned for a TD), thank God the D held them to FGs. While the other Ole Miss TD came on a 74 yard bomb one play after Auburn scored its first TD. The offense showed its youth and inexperience today with its abysmal performance. The quarterback play needs to improve or this will be a very long season for the Tigers. It seemed that whenever a play needed to be made by either side, Ole Miss made the play while Auburn sat back and scratched their heads. The Rebs controlled the clock 17 min to 11 min but Auburn out gained them in offensive yards 393-350ish

What a two weeks from hell in Mississippi. The Tigers can not get out of that state soon enough. Back to back sloppy losses will do that to you. Auburn held a 17-16 lead in the 4th but could not hold on. Also poor time management cost them the game which allowed Miss St to run the clock to 7 seconds and stop a last second punt return as time expired. The young D could have made plays but could not rise to the challenge, dropping 4 ints. The coaches believe snagging one of the four could have changed the game.

Good Game Bits, Great addition to SEC Speed.

    What a brutal schedule, playing #'s 12, 10, 22, and 16 so far with 8, 6, 15, 2, 1, 4, and 14 left in that order.

Losses to the brothers itsnotagame and plex. Not much to say we just got pounded and fell apart in the 2nd half of both games. Arkansas was up 14-21 at the half and vandy/auburn were tied 7-7 at the half. The best qb is a 77 so not too good of a passing attack. We can run the ball but once people figure out we cant pass......GAME OVER. Not worry friends we are about to sign the #9 QB with B speed and B acceleration. He will be a 4 year started and if we make it to year 4 he will be the all time greatest QB in the history of Auburn Football.

Before the season started Auburn fans knew it was a rebuilding year but they certainly did not expect a meltdown like this. After 5 dismal offensive performances the Tigers fired their offensive coordinator and the offensive line coach will be promoted to the new OC. Dan Mullen was the offensive line coach's mentor while climbing the ranks (hint hint). So expect a similar offense with a wrinkle and hopefully more efficient. As for the LSU game Auburn could not get it down in LSU territory and the defense gave up 3 huge TD plays.

Auburn is one win away from becoming bowl eligible...who would have thunk it??? After being dead in the water at 3-6 Auburn has reeled off two impressive wins and now only needs to beat Oklahoma to extend the season.
