    Auto Sprint and Auto Strafe

Just curious to hear everyones thought on it...did everyone turn it off right outof the box, or did some poeple leave it on to focus more on other things?

I turned auto sprint off because the CPU doesn't slow me down in the right spots for cutback opprotunities. I wanna turn auto strafe off but I like it for stopping the run but hate it in pass coverage, it feels like my DBs get stuck sometimes on long passes.

I used both for most of my time playing. I experimenting with manual sprint, but I like the feel of autosprint much, much better so I use that.

I loved autostrafe and would love to still use it, but I play as the MLB and when he goes into man coverage and is covering an out or in route, he'll strafe and can't come close to keeping up to a sprinting receiver/ TE. If I could have autostrafe on at all times except for man coverage, I'd use it, but I had to turn it off recently and it'll have to stay off.

Absolutely love the auto-sprint, but hate the auto-strafe. Strafe has potential, but too often I get burned when a RB breaks to the outside and my LB strafes next to him as he blazes by, or a receiver over the middle just blows by when my defender should be chasing, not strafing.

honestly, i cant identify the pros/cons of using either on or off on both, but i do remember i hated auto strafe back in the old gen madden days so i turnt it off on NCAA lol

Does auto-sprint make it to where the CPU chooses when you sprint, or does it make it based on how hard you are pressing the left thumbstick?

That's what I thought, but needed to make sure before I said this.

I still don't see how anyone would like this, as bad as EA is at everything else they do, why would anyone want to trust them to make your guy sprint and slow down at the right times?

    I have auto strafe off.

Auto sprint remains on, but I still hold the trigger as well.

Thanks, i didnt even realize this was an option, i was wondering why my guy didnt seem to do what i wanted him to do on defense, i thought it was new locomotion because i would whip right by guys even tho i wouldnt have spped burst pressed. I played a couple of games online with both off and things are feeling better, wins will do that for you tho
