Dwayne Allen reached the endzone on this 26 yard grab
After a bye week, the Colts welcomed the AFC West winning Oakland Raiders to Lucas Oil Stadium for their Divisional Matchup. These 2 teams haven't met often other than the 1st week of the inaugural season and both teams have drastically changed since then so neither team knew what to expect. One thing that did remain the same, was the Colts defense was able to swarm QB Terrell Pryor and force him to make throws into tight windows which resulted in interceptions. Pryor would finish the day 9/18 for 242 yards and 2 touchdowns but would throw 4 costly interceptions.

To start the game, the Raiders would win the toss and elect to kick. The Colts drove right down field thanks to a huge 55 yard gain by DHB who showed up well replacing injured WR Denarius Moore. TY Hilton would finish off the drive with a 6 yard reception over the middle for the 7-0 lead. The Raiders would then put together a nice drive of their own and get into Colts territory. On 3rd and goal from about the 6, Pryor would make his first mistake of the day when he threw a pass into double coverage that was picked off by Pro Bowl CB Vontae Davis. The Raiders defense would stand up and force the Colts to punt, ending the quarter 7-0 Colts.

The Raiders would score quickly in the beginning of the 2nd qtr on a 44 yard screen pass to Darren Mcfadden to tie the game at 7. Unfazed, the Colts would put together another nice drive, this time choosing to pound the ball and it would pay off when Bernard Pierce would run it in from 9 yards out to take a 14-7 lead with just over 2 minutes left. Another interception by Pryor would give the Colts good field position but would only be able to kick a field goal and would go into the half up 17-7.

Opening the half the Raiders came out and once again had a quick strike, this time on a 66 yard pass to Rod Streater. From there on out it would be all Colts as they would score 27 unanswered points. On the Colts next possession, they had a quick strike of their own when Luck would find WR TJ Graham behind the defense for a 58 yard pass which seemed to snatch any momentum the Raiders may have had. Another FG and a 19 yard td pass to TE Dwayne Allen would wrap up the 3rd qtr with the Colts up 34-14. From that point, the Raiders would be forced to pass which played directly into the Colts hands and would not be able to put together anything on offense. The Colts would add 10 more points in the 4th and the game would end 44-14.
