I need for there to be an OA website. Having to do game recaps from home when I could be actually playing a game is no bueno.

Memphis hit the road after a string of losses and the Magic were the poor bastards that had to end the streak for Memphis. The Magic jumped out to a big lead but Memphis battled back to only trail by 4 after the first quarter and only by 2 at the break. Orlando lived & died by the jumper of JJ Redick, while Memphis rode the back of Rudy Gay and second chance points of Zach Randolph. The two teams were tied heading into the 4th quarter and Memphis began to separate themselves after several Orlando turnovers. Orlando slowly creeped back into the game late but could not get any closer then the final 5 point deficit as they fell at home 103-98
    Stat Leaders
    J.J. Redick: 7/12, 17 Points
    Jameer Nelson: 7/11, 17 Points, 8 Ast, 2 Stls
    Glen Davis: 6/6, 16 Points, 7 Reb, 4 Ast

Memphis was in Los Angeles for this one. The two teams were fairly even for the whole game. Memphis held a 2 point lead after the first quarter and Gasol/Randolph combo held Dwight Howard to hardly anything. The big man only contributed 6 points and 8 rebounds in the contest but the Lakers were able to stay in contention with the success from PG Steve Nash and super star Kobe Bryant. Memphis was more of a team effort. Gay led the Grizzlies with 28 points but Wayne Ellington and numerous others were in double digit scoring. Ellington scored 16 off the bench. The Lakers hung around but could never gain the lead over the Grizzlies and late free throws were enough to give Memphis a 94-86 victory.
    Stat Leaders
    Kobe Bryant: 7/16, 20 pts, 4 Ast
    Steve Nash: 11/15, 26 pts, 2 Reb, 5 Ast
    Pau Gasol: 4/5, 11 Pts, 6 Reb
    Rudy Gay: 12/19, 28 Pts, 4 Reb
    Wayne Ellington: 5/9, 12 Pts
    Zach Randolph: 6/7, 12 Pts, 6 Reb
    Marc Gasol: 2/3, 11 Pts, 7 Reb

It was the 2nd match up of these two teams this season & the 2nd meeting wasn't nearly as close for Coach Bond and the Magic. They hung close for 3 of the 4 quarters but a 2nd quarter where they only scored 9 points was the dagger as the Magic fell on the road 90-71. The Grizzlies forced 16 turnovers and early in the 4th had actually led a 20 point lead slip to 12. That was close as the magic would get. 2nd chance points & rebounding were the biggest factor aside the turnovers for Orlando who were led by PG Jameer Nelson with 21 points. Memphis again had numerous players in double digit scoring led by no other then Rudy Gay.
    Stat Leaders
    Jameer Nelson: 9/12, 21 Pts, 4 Reb, 4 Ast
    Rudy Gay: 7/14, 16 Pts, 2 Reb
    Wayne Ellington: 5/12, 12 Pts, 2 Reb

Memphis & Cleveland got off to probably the slowest start to any NBA game. At the midway point of the opening quarter the two squads had only scored a combined 15 points. Memphis & Cleveland ended the quarter with a scoring run from their benches as the Grizzlies led 18-14. The remaining 3 quarters were much higher scoring and the Grizzlies led 43-36. Cleveland trimmed the deficit to to 1 entering the 4th quarter and led late in the game, but a late from Memphis and clutch free throws gave Memphis another solid road win 86-82. Cleveland was led by Kyrie Irving and a hot shooting Nate Robinson with those 2 combining for 58 of the 82 points scored. However the 2 efforts were not enough for the victory.
    Stat Leaders
    Kyrie Irving: 13/25, 31 Pts, 2 Reb, 5 Ast
    Nate Robinson: 12/17, 27 Pts, 4 Ast
    Rudy Gay: 7/15, 19 Pts, 2 Ast
    Wayne Ellington: 6/7, 15 Pts
    Zach Randolph: 6/8, 14 Pts, 6 Reb
