    OKC - 90
    SAS - 80

Up by as many as 22 points, the Thunder go into San Antonio and beat up the new-look spurs. Durant had 27 and Ibaka finished with 19 and 10

    OKC - 85
    CHI - 77

One night after being embarrassed by the Knicks on the road, the Thunder go into the United Center and play inspired defense in a convincing win over the suddenly reeling Chicago Bulls. These 2 wins put the Thunder 1.5 games ahead of the Lakers for the top seed in the west.

The top two seeds in the Western Conference met for the first time this season and this was a match up that the fans at Staples center loved. In the first half quarter it was clear the teams had two different styles. The Thunder were running and gunning , slashing towards the basket at every opportunity with Russell Westbrook , while the Lakers were content to slow things down and play a more half court oriented type of game. After 1 The Lakers were up 29-25 mainly due to its multiple trips to the foul line. In the 2nd quarter Russell Westbrook and KD really went to work with their scoring and they took the lead by 4 headed into the half. 56-52. At this point Kobe had 25, Westbrook had 22, and Durant had 19. Russell Westbrook really put on a dunk contest type performance in the 1st half.

Starting the 2nd half both teams made adjustments, Kobe had been going to work on the smaller Westbrook and Nate Robinson and was consistently backing them down and using post moves to score. The Thunder put the larger man on Kobe defensively, and to combat Russell's scoring Kobe was moved over to guard him. In the 3rd quarter the Lakers shot 68% and went on a big run to grab a 91-83 lead. To start the 4th the stars were mostly on the bench, the Lakers were clearly the deeper team at this point as they maintained a 10 point lead for most of the entire quarter with Kobe and Westbrook not in the game. In the end OKC just couldnt get on a run again and The Lakers came away with the tough win and sent a message to the young Thunder that they are still a very big dog out west for now. The Two teams will meet again in a few days.

    Kobe finished with 48
    Durant finished with 43
    Westbrook finished with 22

Balanced led the Wolves past the Hawks as 6 players hit double digits and were once again led by Michael Beasley who had 17. Hawks got it down to 2 in the second half but Minnesota clamped down on defense to get the win and iced the game with free throws.

Bucks get a much needed win against the Bobcats after losing a few in a row. Kemba Walker again was the story in this game as he led the Bucks in scoring and his counter part Brandon Jennings was on the bench in foul trouble.

Larry Sanders 15 Pts 6 Reb 2 Blk
Chris Singleton 15 Pts 8 Reb

This one was ugly to watch as neither team could shoot for shit. At one point we led by 16, but Detroit actually came back to take the lead with a little over 3 minutes in the 4th quarter. But then AI and Holiday took over and put this one away. We commited 8 turnovers and shot got killed in the paint giving up 40. Most of them on BS penetration, spin, fake, fake, up and under that someone faked out 5 defenders. With Lou Williams having a nagging injury Jodie Meeks got 15 minutes (season high) scoring 10 points (season high)

    Leaders:

    Igoudala- 26 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal
    Holiday- 14 points, 7 boards, 6 assists, 4 steals
    Gortat- 8 points, 10 boards, 1 block

    Prince- 12 points, 8 boards, 4 assists
    Knight- 11 points, 3 assists
    Villenueva- 10 points, 4 boards

Our 3 game road trip starts with an ugly loss. We were down 27-17 to start the 2nd quarter, and really never stood a chance. The Kings were on fire from 3 point land going 10/18, and shot 50% from the field. We live by the fast break, and we only had 2 fast break points, as somehow every time we got one, they had 1 guy that could stop whoever I passed to. At one point I had a 3 on 1 and I got blocked with no foul and missed the shot. Kings had 21 assists, and just passed it around the court all game long.

    Leaders:

    Igoudala- 20 points, 5 boards, 1 assist
    Williams- 15 points, 2 boards, 3 assists
    Brand- 12 points, 9 boards

    Ferdette- 23 points, 8 boards, 9 assists (almost a triple freaking double), 1 steal, 5/7 3PT
    Garcia- 16 points, 5 boards, 1 assist, 4/7 3 PT
    Thornton- 15 points, 4 boards, 3 assists, 4 steals

    Pistons: 82
    Pacers: 96

The Pacers got Rodney Stuckey out of the game early with foul trouble, and Darren Collison scored a season high 25 on his backup to lead the Pacers to the victory.

    Pacers: 104
    Heat: 94

Very back and forth game with neither team pulling away until the Pacers hit their free throws. This game was never more than a 10 point lead. The Pacers got out-rebounded on the defensive end, but were able to enforce their will in the paint on the offensive end. Both starting big men, Hibbert and David West scored 22 points which tied with Wade who also had 22, for the highest scorers.

    Pacers: 106
    Nets: 98

The Pacers come back from down 15 in this game to get a big win. Granger led the team with 22 points, and George Hill had 14 with 8 assists. George Hill was the x-factor of this game, as he shut down Derron Williams when he was on the court, and the offense flowed through him every possesion.

The Pacers are now tied with Chicago and Boston for 3rd in the Eastern Conference after starting out 7 games below .500 earlier in the year.

    OKC - 89
    DEN - 84

Oklahoma City raced out to a 14-4 lead in the first quarter and things looked bleak for the Home team. However, a balanced offense for Denver was able to battle back and force 14 lead changes throughout the rest of the game. In the 3rd quarter, the backups for the Thunder were ice cold and allowed the Nuggets to take a 5 point lead. James Harden started his game 0-7 but he was able to hit 2 consecutive 3 pointers to bring the THunder back to the lead in the 4th quarter. If not for the sudden barrage of made 3's, surely the thunder would have lost this game.

In the end, the THunder were able to pull away and hit FTs to win.

    Westbrook - 25 points, 5 boards, 4 assists
    Durant - 33 points
    Ibaka - 14 points, 7 boards, 3 blocks
    Harden 9 points, 6 boards.

    OKC - 85
    WAS - 75

We started this game, it froze, then simmed. WIth the BS victory, the Thunder improved to 34-16 and have a 2.5 game edge on the mighty Lakers.

Great game with SuperBowlNachos For someone who hadn't played the game very much, he hung tough in the first half, until about midway through the 2nd when our defense tightened up only allowing 10 points. Jason Terry was the story of this game though, as somehow we could not contain him. He dropped 32 points on us including 4-8 from 3 PT land. Story of the game was the 16 Dallas turnovers leading to 18 points. IN addition, the fast break was back in action as we scored 23 fast break points. The second half saw Gortat absolutely dominate. On the day he had 18 points and 14 boards.

    Leaders:

    Igoudala- 22 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals, 1 block
    Gortat- 18 points, 14 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 block
    Holiday- 16 points, 5 assists, 2 steals

    Terry- 32 points 1 board, 1 assist, 1 steal
    Novitski- 19 points, 4 boards, 2 steals, 1 block
    Carter- 9 points, 3 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal

Sorry i can't get into too specific details, playing catchup on my summaries.

    Clippers 80
    CAVS 92

Kyrie sat this one out with a sprained ankle and a balanced attack led the way for the Cavs with 5 players in double figures. Blake Griffin and Chris Paul were the leaders of the Clippers. Paul had 17 points and 5 assists with a whopping 9 steals. Something that was almost expected however with the Cavaliers being without their floor general. GG Matrix

    Kings 83
    CAVS 97

A 30-18 3rd quarter was the difference in this one. This was actually the game Kyrie got hurt in (played out of order) so Michael Redd carried the load for the Cavs scoring a season high 32 points on 13-21 shooting, 6-10 from deep.

    Mavericks 62
    CAVS 70

The Cavaliers led by a 30 points performance by Kyrie Irving really thought they were gonna cruise until the second half when Dirk came alive. At one point the German put the Mavericks within two in the fourth quarter. After a costly Backcourt Violation by Jason Terry gave the Cavs the ball back, Kyrie Irving would ice it with free throws.

    CAVS 87
    Pacer 79

This sucked. Makin was absolutely demolishing me until he was booted from the game. Once he was booted the game simmed and i got the W. I really hate this part of the OA.

    Bucks 81
    CAVS 89

Another classic between these two teams. No one player had a fantastic game for the Bucks, it was more of a well balanced attack that threw the Cavalier defense off. Jamison and Walker each had 15. Two of 5 players in double digits for the Bucks. This game actually started as a disaster for the Cavs going down 28-11 after the first. The disease of brick-itis was then passed on to the Bucks who couldn't get anything to go in allowing the Cavs back in it. The two teams each had chances to win in regulation but poor execution cost them both. In OT the Bucks were cold and the Cavs were hot. Kyrie Irving got the better of fellow ROY candidate Kemba Walker going for 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists. Kemba had 15 points on 7 of 26 shooting with 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Great game Z.

    Boston 93 - new jersey 84

They really made me sweat. I can't get out of a CPU game easy at all lately. Pierce put in 40. Kg got 16-10. Rondo had 10 dimes. New jersey had 6 players in double figures and shot 29 threes. They hit 11 of those. But alot of those misses they would get the rebound for a quick put back. They had 6 off rebounds.

Two games left. Miami and nj again. We move to 36-20.

Derrick Williams had the best game of his young career leading Minnesota in an impressive victory against playoff bound Golden State. Williams had 27 points on 10-15 shooting to go along with 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 blocks. Williams played great defense on David Lee forcing him to take tough shots all game. Michael Beasley added 24 points.

    Lakers 103

The Lakers played maybe their best game of the season in this one with 5 players in double digit scoring. Kobe not even being in the top 3 scorers for the first time all year. Dahntay Jones had a marvelous game coming off the bench with 22, Pietrus had 20 and Marc Gasol had 18. The Lakers were just too hot for the young sixers tonight at home and they busted the game open in the 2nd half and didnt really look back. Hopefully they can use this game to build some momentum headed into the playoffs where they will probably face the Nuggets.

CAVS WIN! GOING TO PLAYOFFS FOR FIRST TIME IN POST-LEBRON ERA!!!

    Teams 1st 2nd 3rd 4th Final
    CAVS 22 20 31 22 95
    Wizards 18 25 25 23 91

Washington D.C: "Wow, this has been such a long season. We did it. These guys worked their asses off all season long and it has paid off. I love these guys." Those were the words from Cavs head coach Byron Scott following his teams monumental win over the Wizards in the Verizon Center. This rivalry had been dead for awhile, but was certainly reignited with all that was on the line in this matchup. The two teams exchanged counter punches and haymakers with the Cavs staying on their feet the longest. The wily vet Rashard Lewis had possibly the best game of his career scoring 41 points on 16 of 26 shooting and 7 of 13 from downtown. Unfortunately for the former Sonic, he missed two huge fourth quarter shots that would have possibly changed the result of the ballgame. Kyrie Irving led the way for the Cavs going for 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 13 assists. The Cavs currently sit in the 6th seed but could fall as low as the 8th with the Hawks and Magic having at least 5 more games remaining than the Cavs. The Cavs now fiinish the regular season against the New York Knicks in a game that could be a first round preview. Great game ryalaman

The Mavericks came into this game looking to keep position in the playoff picture, however, soon after tip-off this one was over. Dirk scored 15 of his teams's 18 1st quarter points as his temmates could not get anything going. Jet Terry finished 4-15 and Dirk ended with 21 points. Westbrook poured in 20 and dished out a season-high 11 assists. Durant finished with 32.

Harden finished with 15/9 and Ibaka doubled up with a 10/10 performance that included 3 blocks.

I just don't get what I'm doing wrong. I can't make a layup with a 7 footer, but then I can't defend a guy like Nate Robinson from going wild under the basket while using the lock down paint.

I now have to beat four users my last four games to make the playoffs...

Doesn't show it in game but whoever is 10th in the East is mathematically eliminated. So with 4 teams fighting for 3 spots, I am already guaranteed to finish higher than one. That one is Washington. We each have one game left and I have a 1 game lead on him plus the H2H tiebreaker (swept season series). Hope I didn't ramble too much to explain that lol

No makes sense. Congrats. Looks to me like you'll either get the bulls or pacers, whomever wins that division and I'll get the 2nd place team. At least the way I understand it. If it went straight from seed regardless of division winner it'd be me and you more than likey with my win over Miami today.

    Lakers 105
    Warriors 91

The Lakers get the big win on the road against the Warriors, who some have as dark horse candidates for the NBA finals. The Lake show was on fire tonight shooting 58% and really taking control of the game early. They jumped out to a 10-5 lead and that is as close as the Warriors ever sniffed to being ahead for the entire game. Defensively they limited the impact of Monta Ellis and Steph Curry who combined for 33 points but only shot 14-44 for the whole game. Dahntay Jones and Mickael Pietrus lead things off the bench and extended the lead going into halftime , Kobe did not play for the entire second quarter. "When you can get play from your bench like that its hard to lose" Said Coach Mike Brown after the game. With only two match ups left (Mavs and Thunder) The Lakers are hoping to finish strong and gather momentum headed into the playoffs. Where it looks like they will face either the Suns, Mavs, or Nuggets.
