Making an entire thread for 2010 lol
    Music City Bowl

    Boston College: 20
    Mississippi St: 17

This was a game dominated by defense. Mississippi State won the turnover battle 3-1 but was unable to move the ball at all in the second half. The game was scoreless until Miss. St. threw a TD pass with 4:47 left in the second quarter. BC fought back by throwing the ball and scored with under a minute. A last second field goal gave Mississippi St. a 10-7 lead at the half.

On Boston College's first drive Dave Shinskie dropped back to pass, and was hit and intercepted by D-Lineman J. Boyd 71 yards to make the score 17-7. BC did not panic and used a mix of run and pass to fight back into the game. A Boston College field goal and safety put them in the game with the score being 17-12. HB Montel Harris scored on a 10 yard TD pass on the ensuing possession. After a Mississippi State punt, BC was able to run the clock down to 20 second before pinning Miss. St. deep in there own territory.

    Leading stat leaders:
Passing: Dave Shinskie: 18-31 for 274 yards, 2 TD, 3 INT
Rushing: Montel Harris: 29 attempts for 70 yards, receiving TD
Receiving: Clyde Lee: 3 receptions for 84 yards
Defense: Luke Kuechly: 7 tackles, 2 TFL, sack

This win puts Boston College at 9-4 on the season. Hopes are high for the Eagles in 2011 especially if star tailback Montel Harris decides to come back for his senior season.
