    Fiesta Bowl = Screwed

Why not put one against Florida, and one against Cincy or G-Tech. It just doesn't make sense to put 2 non BCS teams in the same bowl.

You have Florida in two bowls.

Anyway, I was hoping to see Florida - TCU.

That never would have been possible unless it was in the title game. Since the Sugar Bowl has SEC rights and the champion, bama, is gone they get first choice to replace. The Fiesta bowl lost the Big 12 champion so they got to pick second which Im sure was TCU and not Boise.

The fiesta bowl is consistently the most exciting bowl year after year. Hopefully they will continue the trend.

Let's not forget the Champs Sports Bowl. Miami vs. Wisconsin. Tortoise versus the Hare?

Is it to anyone's surprise that the BCS put two non-BCS teams in the same bowl? Instead of having Florida-TCU and Boise St-Iowa, they are playing each other because if both TCU and Boise were to win those match ups it would just be another indictment on how shitty the system is.

Now they get to dismiss it as just the Fiesta bowl winner.

I was really hoping for Boise St v. Florida...The Fiesta Bowl seemingly every year goes with the matchup that will produce the highest possible ratings, and the most revenue. All of the major bowls strive for the same thing, but it seems like even more so with the Fiesta Bowl, which is why they invite Ohio State almost every year. Buckeye fans travel extremely well, and generally spend alot of money while in town. I wonder why they made this matchup.?? You would think Iowa v. Boise St would generate just as much, if not more revenue because of the way Iowa fans have traveled historically and I would think that game would get better ratings nationwide than Boise St v. TCU. I'm not sure causal fans are really going to care enough to tune into that game.

    Interesting decision.

I was watching the selection show, booing the decision to put TCU and Boise State in the same game. Just a

huge cop out to put them together and not give them a chance to show that as non-BCS conference schools they can knock off a BCS team. Especially with Cincy, Florida, GTech and Iowa available.

Why not Cincy vs. Boise State and Florida vs. TCU? Or switch it around. IMO much better matchups.

Btw was there a meeting I'm not aware of that decided it would be OK for there to be two Rose Bowls this year?

Are you referring to the NC game being in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl?

They decided to do that a couple of years back. Alabama vs Texas is considered the NCG and not necessarily a "bowl game". So now we have 4 BCS bowl games and then the National Title Game

    Georgia Tech over Iowa.
Iowa has seen nothing like the GT triple option this year so will have trouble stopping it and just don't see Iowa scoring a bunch of points on O.
