Myron McQueen the #16 ranked, :4stars:, Hard Hitting Free Safety from CN will take a trip to Longhorn Country this week for a tour of the campus. McQueen is 6'2", 218 lbs and ran a 4.48 in the 40 yard dash. He has good speed with equal range but his big frame will allow for run support which is a big part of the Secondary's responsibilities under Coach Era. Myron is looking for a good Fan base and Program Stability, two areas the Longhorns are rated high in.

    Commits:
Wes Williams the #5 ranked, :4stars: CB from Indiana signed his letter this week and will be a Longhorn. Williams is 6'1", 171 lbs with a 4.38 forty yard dash. Williams has A- spd, B MCV, C ZCV, and B- Press. Williams elected to come to Texas over an offer from Alabama and Coach Dakota sighting Coach Experience. Williams will definitly be in the mix for the 3rd or 4th CB spot.

Zach Stephens the #17 ranked, :4stars: MLB from North Carolina decided he wanted to be a part of the infamous Longhorn Defense. Stephens has good size at 6'0", 249 lbs with decent speed. Zach has B- Tackle, C+ Block Shedding, and B- speed. Stephens will probably be Redshirted his Freshman year so he can add some speed and coverage skills which is key to the Longhorns 3-4 Defense. He opted for Texas over Big 12 Rival, Kansas and Coach Max. The man wants to play for a Championship!

Will Harrison the :5stars: #1 Ranked RB from California will take a trip to Austin this week to watch the Longhorns take on Iowa St. His 6'0", 202 lbs frame with great speed, 4.38 forty yard dash, has a lot of schools tring to land him. Texas is hoping the kid likes what he sees so they can have him in a duo with current Freshman RB, Thompson. This would sure up the backfield for years to come. Harrison has offers from: Texas, Bama, USC, VT, and Washington.

    Measureables:
    A- Spd
    C- Break Tackle
    B- Carrying
    C- Trucking

    Commits:
Jon Brown, :4stars:, #8 WR from Washigton signed on the spot after a very productive phone call from Coach Era. Pro Potential sealed the deal for the Longhorns with the 6'3", 198 lbs WR. Brown ran a 4.46 forty yard dash and received C+ Ratings in Catching, Route Running, and Catch in Traffic with a B- in Spectacular Catch. It is very possible that Brown will see the field his Freshman year with some key WR being Seniors.

Will Harrison the :5stars:, #1 ranked RB from California has decided to play for the Texas Longhorns over the offer from USC. The #11 ranked player in the country sighted Championship Contention and Pro Potential as his main reasons for coming to Austin. Harrison is 6'0", 202 lbs with 4.38 speed. Coach Era said,"Once Will gets here and we get a good look at him on the field inside our offense we will decide if we intend to RS him or if he will become a weapon for the Longhorns in the backfield. Someone close to the team said,"This guy reminds us of Adrian Peterson and that is very promising!"

Jason Wilson the :5stars:, #1 ranked T from Texas is going to stay in state for a chance to play for Coach Era due to the Coaching Experience and Prestige the Longhorns have to offer a new recruit. The #30 ranked player in the country also wants to have a shot at playing for a National Title. 6'7" and 285 lbs will be a good starting point for Wilson but will probably be redshirted his first year in the hopes he can add some size and strength which is needed for a Tackle in the Longhorns offense.

Evan Smith the :4stars: #10 ranked G from North Carolina decided he wanted to take a trip to Texas and play for the Longhorns and Coach Era. 6'5" and 293 lbs is a nice size for a guard but he will have to work on his Run Blocking (C+) if he wants to see the field early in his Longhorn Career...but more than likely he will receive a Red Shirt for his Freshman year.

    Notes:
Texas currently has the #1 ranked recruiting class and still has some key recruits looking to sign. We are only at the half point of the season so a lot of programs can climb up the rankings but the Longhorns feel pretty good about how this recruiting class is shaping up. Texas currently has 4 of the Top 100 guys committed.
