Right now the Broncs are undefeated at 9-0 and looking at a possible run at a national championship. The problem is the strength of schedule is not the strongest of ones. The only marquee wins are against #17 Michigan and #25 UCLA. None of the remaining games looks to siginficantly boost WMU's case for a national title slot.

The other remaining undefeated teams with chances at losses are Alabama (LSU, Auburn, SEC title), Michigan St (Neb, B1G title), Stanford (Ore, ND), Oklahoma St (Mizzou, OU), TCU (SDST, Boise), and USF (WVU). This could be a year with multiple undefeated schools which means someone is gonna get left out of the title game. Who's gonna be in it?

Bama and Stanford have fallen. WMU's shot just might become a reality.

You still have some work to do...at least the CPU does. I think you are 6th in the BCS and our other user with a shot, USF is 4th. Maybe we could get a user v user NC game!

I'm just bummed that I'm still at a B+ when just one season ago, I beat the coach of that #4 ranked team when he was at UNLV. I desperately need to beat UAB this week and win my bowl game.

Shit...I just got bumped from a D+ to a C+ this season...not sure what triggered it. It was during the season when it happened and I just happened to notice it.

I am going to try anything I can to leave this year. I am losing 10 of my top 15 offensive guys and 7 of my top 13 defensive guys. And because I had so many schollies to fill I couldn't afford to spend tons of minutes on the JUCO guys, so Memphis will be awful next year.

I think year one I was a 66 OVR, last year a 72 OVR, and this year a 77 OVR (I think). Next year, it will probably be below 70.

Did you focus heavily on JUCO people your first few years? I find doing that helps in the short run but leaves you in a world of recruiting hurt over the long run.

I did. They fit well with my 3 year plan to get outta there. Unfortunately, losing my bowl game and a few other losses weren't a part of my 3 year plan, so I am not sure how it's going to go.

I'm gonna find some Chinese men to build a giant wall, blocking anyone from coming into the Sun Belt

If I end up in the Sun Belt, then my 3 year plan has been a failure.

I agree with aarondramp It's been 3 years and time for the plan to move on, so to speak. Although, if I leave someone like recchem2000 may want to consider a move to the bayou. My cupboard is not bare.

With my loss to UAB, I'll just have to win my last games to get to 7-5 and have to win whoever I play in my bowl game. Then it's just hoping that I can get a decent offer.

TCU falls for the first time. Also, the Broncos hopped over a one-loss Arkansas team. What hurts WMU is that they are now on a 2 week bye til the MAC title game.
