With the loss by Georgia to Auburn last week things got very interesting this week. Georgia plays host to Boise State and should not knock off the last remaining undefeated CPU team.

assuming Georgia beats Boise, that should kill them for lack of strength of schedule. so legitimately, 9 teams that could make it to the BCS title game, including any of 6 users. and that's IF we beat clemson. if we lose to them, forget about, total friggin mess

I feel it's kinda ridiculous that since the loss to Miami WEEKS ago, I've moved up 1 spot...1 SPOT!

and it's not like I've been facing some cupcakes every week neither...I felt I should at least be 4th right now.

Obviously I need to beat Georgia to have any chance and IMO need Clemson to take out Miami in the ACC title game for me to have any chance at this.

Where does Texas fall into all of this? Are they likely to win out?

I think a win against Boise St will help Georgia's cause. It's the number 2 team in the nation. Georgia also plays a big time game against Georgia Tech and have clinched a spot in the Conference Championship. They are still much alive despite their loss to Auburn

Texas is idle this week it will hurt them.

If Alabama wins it will help themselves beating a top 10 team. The win would also put them in the SEC confrence title game. A win there and they have a legite shot at the title game.

Despite laying the wood to Vandy Tennessee just doesn't have enough competition left on its schedule. They play at Notre Dame late, I think they are like #21 but it wont be enough. Being eliminated from the conference championship game hurts them big time.

Gerogia Tech is in a similar situation as Tennessee. But they have a huge game left @ Georgia. They need some help to make it even with a big win against the Dawgs. I think like a Miami loss would be the best thing for them.

An Auburn win this week will push them up even further in the polls. The media already loves them. The win would also put them into a showdown tith Georgia Bulldogs a shot at a BCS title birth. The game would be the second meeting of the season and a replay of last years SEC title game.

Clemson out of the National title picture but still a major player in how the chips fall. Clemson can turn the BCS on its ear with a win against Miami. Not to mention it would do wonders for Clemson's program.

Texas faces Texas A&M next week. But A&M lost this week to UNC so the game wont help them as much. They also will be in the Big 12 title game. IMO a one loss SEC team will make it through before a one loss Texas.
