I think the only game atkins hasn't had a 100 yards is the Texas a&m game whate he missed 2 qtrs and ended up with 91. This guy is my 2nd favorite rb I have ever coached the 1st being watkins with Wisconsin who is aguably the greatest deuce rb ever....

I'll have to check on that today, but Patrick is a beast. He was the NCAA leading tackler last year. He crushed Haynes last year in tackles, but Haynes crushed him in year 1. It might be closer tahn you think.

With UCLA losing Phillips for the season, throwing the ball to JT Green has been quite fun. The guy can get behind most if any DB's and once he catches it he can go the distance.

I ran a WR screen the other day and guy just juked two guys to the ground and broke a tackle on the way to a 40-50 yard TD. In the game against Cal, it just wasn't fair, he had one play where it was a post route, he caught the ball, did a spin move and went for a 60 yard TD right before the half. He normally doesn't play 4th quarter, and he will own almost every single season receiving record UCLA has.

He isn't a bad returner either.

that sounds like exactly what I do with Concepcion on my team. He has (I think) 98 speed. So if the defense does not give safety help, I can usually outrun any defensive back. I usually don't care about WR's because I love running the ball, however, this season has me thinking twice because it is fun having WRs to throw to whenever I need.

Yeah....The difference is Patricks FR year, when i had him on the bench for the first 6 weeks. Haynes had 137 and Patrick only had 78, otherwise they would be pretty close to neck and neck. haynes also has monster TFL's while Patricks are only above average.

I've seen both Patrick and Haynes and they are both beasts. I think they have different skillsets though. Haynes is a Merriman type of guy while Patrick is more like Ray Lewis.

I love the fact that all the Pac-10 user games happen in the last half of the season. Makes for good storylines.

the bowl picture should become a bit more clear in the next two weeks with a lot of decent matchups.

unfortunately for the SEC.. most of our matchups are midseason, well at least mine are... i play Virginia Tech and Georgia back to back almost ever year in week 6, 7 or 8... which normally means i am either seriously in the running for the SEC title or out of it by week 9....(y)

Yeah I love playing the MLB, and Patrick averages about 12-15 tackles per game. He has a great tackle rating, and is fast enough to get outside to stop the run.

just checked my tackle totals for my team ... the leader has 76. These guys getting 100, wow.

Maybe it is because I have to go to Nickel a lot to stop the pass and I don't control my starting MLB then?

98, And he is a shoe in for Defensive player of the year & LB of the year, I would call it a long shot.

I was hoping that David Lawrence hung around so he could have taken a shot at Ron Danye but that did not happen.

    Watch out for Nebraska....

The winner of the Big 12 Title is going to play for the title, that seems pretty clear.

If Georgia had won last night, the rematch would have basically been for the other spot, but now that Georgia is all but out of title contention if they knock off Va Tech in the rematch all hell would break loose.

My money is on Nebraska, they are ranked #5? I think and still play the #3 team ASU and #10 USC. If they win both those I think that will be enough to get them the other spot (I believe this has played out this way once before).
