Chicago, IL -- The Chicago Bears are anxiously awaiting the start of the 2016 regular season in the Q. After a 1-2-1 preseason, the Bears look to start the season on a positive note when the host the Philadelphia Eagles in week 1. In the 2016 draft the Bears filled a huge need by drafting OLB Sateki Swain out of Nebraska. The 6'3" 242 lb linebacker looks to see time out of the gate as he steps into the ROLB role which was held for so many years by Lance Briggs who wasn't re-signed in the offseason. Swain a great combination of speed, power and tackling fundamentals that coaches covet. He needs to learn how to defend TE's and WRs better, but if he can do that, he is going to be a force for years to come. The Bears also looked to sure up their secondary by drafting a pair of free safeties in Burness Butler and Peniel Ratliff. Both players have excellent speed and power. Butler is a better tackler of the pair, however Ratliff is in the front running position to start the season for the Bears. Chicago looks to start the season, but faces a tough test against a very well coached Eagles team. Time will tell how this team fares during the regular season, but in the meantime buckle up and enjoy the ride.
