They have some great places in place with a deadly combination of Matt Forte, Brandon Marshall, and Alshon Jeffrey. TE Marcellus Bennett also brings a dimension to the passing attack. QB Jay Cutler was locked up to a 7 year deal in the off season and should be a very solid quarterback for the Bears for the long haul. Lamar Houston, Jared Allen, and Willie Young are great additions to the defensive line and should really help with bringing pressure on the quarterback. The Bears focused on the defense in the draft as well. With the additions of CB Kyle Fuller, DT Ergo Ferguson, and DT Will Sutton there should be a nice core to build off of. Where the Bears are weak is in their line backing core. Lance Briggs will anchor the linebackers but there definitely is a drop off after Briggs. LB will be an area that the Bears will look to improve. Secondary is also another area that the Bears can improve, Tillman is getting old, but Kyle Fuller will help. With the off-season additions on defense, the Bears definitely are in a good position in the NFC North to have a bounce back season. Prediction: 10-6 (wildcard)
He really is. Had him come down with a 56 yard Hail Mary as time expired for the win last year. Doesn't hurt that he's got a big arm throwing to him. Alshon wasn't rated high last year. This year, they're scary. With forte, they have 3 guys who can take over a game. Pick your poison NFC north!
