Chicago, Illinois After Jay Cutler had been benched a couple weeks ago many believed it was only a matter of time for the time to move on from Matt Forte too. However, cometh the hour cometh the man as Forte made sure that he would leave a lasting impression on the new ownership, as his SIX touchdowns were just enough to beat a Vikings team with a never-say-die attitude. Forte's 4 rushing and 2 receiving touchdowns were just barely enough to beat the Vikings as the Bears won a classic matchup 44-38 in OT. Starting their 3rd QB in as many weeks, It was rookie Logan Smiley's turn to get his first win under his belt as he went 20/32 for 289 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT in his first start as an NFL QB. "Smiley went out there and did what needed to be done to get the win. The statsheet says that he missed 12 of his throws tonight but with 9 drops ( ) he really didn't miss much tonight. We have been consistently inconsistent since I took over the team but hopefully we can build off this win and finish off strong in our last 3 games this season. The fans in Chicago have had many questions regarding the future of this coaching staff and that of Jay Cutler, but we will wait until the offseason before addressing any of those questions. For now, we will enjoy the win and move on to planning for the Lions next week"
