    Week One @ Washington
The began the 2016 season on a high note defeating the Washington team 42-14 on Monday Night Football. With a balanced offense that tallied 436 total yards led by Big Ben's four touchdown throws, Pittsburgh was firing on all cylinders. Le'Veon Bell rushed the ball 23 times for 166 yards and a score. AB found the end zone twice but was held to a relatively pedestrian 63 yards on five catches.
Defensively, the steelers got after Kirk Cousins with four sacks and an interception. Cam Heyward started off the '16 campaign with 2.5 sacks of Cousins and a tackle for a loss. Newly signed Sanders Commings managed to pick off Cousins.

    Week vs Bengals

An early AFC North battle against rival awaited Steeler nation in week two. Coming off a short week, Pittsburgh did not need much inspiration or motivation to get up for this one. Both teams played hard nosed defense throughout the first three frames and both QBs felt the pressure. Ben looked as awful in this one as he looked spectacular in the opener, throwing four interceptions. Bell followed up with a stinker of his own posting 39 yards on 14 carries but found the endzone once. AB and AJ Green had good days with over 100 receiving yards each. Second year WR Eli Rogers also added a touchdown to go with 79 yards as he got the start in the slot. Arthur Moats added a sack and a half while Cam got another in the game also. In the end the Steelers were able to overcome dreadful start to pull out a much needed 25 - 22 OT victory.

    Week Three @ Eagles
Steelers traveled down the PA turnpike to bsttle in stte foe Philadelphia Eagles as both were looking to go to 3-0. Philly shot out to a 14 - 0 first quarter lead as the Eagles put a lot of pressure on Ben sacking him six times. Once again Bell couldn't get any traction in the few attempts he had as the team was playing catch up. AB found the endzone again but second year player Sammie Coates showed some of the potential that led the team to draft him out of Auburn ad he had six receptions for 52 yards and twi touchdowns. Final score 31 - 21 Eagles.

    Week Four vs Chiefs
Just four weeks into the season and the home crowd was given its second OT action of 2016. This one saw a relatively back and forth tilt that saw the home team once again battle back to force OT and gain the win. Ben was sharp throwing for 408 yards and four touchdowns. The tandem of AB & Wheaton benefited from Ben's spot on play combining for 13 catches and 203 yards with three scores. even Ladarius Green found his first hundred game and score as a Steeler. The win pushes the team to 3-1.
