$1 Million buy-in Poker tournament at the World Series of Poker. $111,111 of each buy-in is donated to the charity One Drop, which is focused on ensuring everyone in the world has access to drinkable water.

The prize pool is $42.5 Million which makes it the one of the largest prize pools ever for a poker tournament.

    Anyone else following this tournament?

Didn't the WSOP used to be like a 10 grand buy-in like 5 years ago?

Now you want to be nice because I gave you my spot in D12 huh? Haha no the main event is still 10G's...but thats nothing compared to 1 million dollars.... to me thats just nuts. 48 people bought in for 1 million and only 10 get paid. 38 million people can afford to lose one million.

If you think about it I highly doubt there are more than 5-6 of the pros who didn't sell at least 60-70 % of their action, so it is way more than 38 people.

I'll also bet if it goes down to 2 pros hu there will be a money chop

Right. Its rumored that only 2-3 of the pros had 100% of themselves. It was nice to see three pro's end up in the final 4. I'm a big Hellmuth fan so I enjoyed seeing him make his deep run. That was definitely entertaining to watch on ESPN.

I would guess the only 2 pros that didn't sell any action was Durr & Ivey both can afford it. I would say Antonio had less then 20% of himself. It was a epic event I watched from start to finish. I was pulling for Guy to win it but happy for Antonio always liked him..

I heard Vivik(vivek?) had close to 100% of himself. According to other pros, he is an absolute baller who crushes in high stakes cash games.

There was actually talk about Ivey cross booking his action, although I'm not sure how this work.

2 names I wasn't expecting o see Duhamel and Voularis or whatever his name is. How did he got into this I have no idea.

Voulgaris supposedly makes tons of money because he a professional sports gambler. Duhamel won the main event a couple of years ago and scooped 7 Mil or so - so I'm sure he could afford to play it by himself, especially considering he continued making more money in poker.

Him and one of the business guys did it, If either one made money the other doubled it, so if ivey would've shipped the 18 million, he would of won 36 million 18 from the prize and 18 from the guy he cross booked with.

Voularis is supposed to be a big time basketball sports better and is a pretty solid high stakes cash game player. He bought the seat off the guy that shipped the satty from one of the casinos in canada.
