Longtime league rivals Coach HoodIII and Coach Pittrock both came into the game needing a win one so they can take control of the division and one so they could stay in the hunt for the division. Something had to give and with Coach Pittrock having the advantage of late Seattle knew it would be a tough job to get done. Seattle won the toss and elected to kickoff. Quickly 3 and outed Seattle looked to immediately score and were returned with their own 3 and out. The Rams were able to get some things going in the 2nd qtr on their next drive with Jared Cook Jr leading the way with a Rashard Mendenhall 2yd TD run capping off the drive after a scoreless 1st qtr. Late in the 2nd qtr Seattle was trying to even the score with time running out and had some big clutch catches to keep the drive alive that was capped off with a Golden Tate 11 yd TD reception with 26 seconds left in the half. At halftime score 7-7. With Seattle receiving the ball in the 2nd half a long bruising drive was put together by the hawks with Marshawn Lynch leading the way by punishing the Rams defense inside the tackles finishing with a 2yd TD run that gave Seattle the lead 14-7 midway through the 3rd. the Rams feeling comfortable playing at home answered with a nice drive mixed in with runs. playactions and screens capped off by a Tashard Choice 1 yd TD run to tie the game at 14-14 to finish all the scoring for the 3rd qtr. Russell Wilson after a rough start to the game was able to connect with Percy Harvin on a nice 17 yd pass along the sideline with a toe tap in the endzone for the score. 21-14 Seattle. Not sure what the Harvin score did to Brandon Lloyd but it definitely woke him up because he was a beast on St Louis next scoring drive making catches in trafffic, in space just about anywhere he wanted ending with a 13 yd TD reception from Sam Bradford with 52 seconds left in the game to tie it at 21-21 all. With all of their timeouts Coach HoodIII new he had time to try and get withing FG range and proceeded to try and just do that. With some great runs by Lynch and an unbelievable catch and run by Zach Miller in which he was tackled inside the 5 yard line doing Seattle a favor by forcing the Rams to use a precious timeout. The drive was finished off with a Lynch 3yd TD run with 29 ticks left on the clock. Seattle was able to hold off a last gasp effort by St Louis and preserve the victory.

Player of the Game for Seattle: Marshawn Lynch 20car for 95yds and 2 TD's

    GG game Eddie
