Top 5 Big Ten User Recruit Commits Ryan Powell - Michigan gets wise, first Denard now Powell. They go down south and nab Ryan Powell out of Crowley, Louisiana. The people of Louisiana were stunned, shocked and shattered when they found out Powell chose to go up north and play for the Wolverines over their Tigers. With Denard Robinson at the quarterback position, Powell adds some definite hype for the Michigan faithful. Powell has the potential to become one of the best wide receivers to ever play in the Big House. At 6'3 200 pounds he is big, strong and fast. With the ability to run right past you and out jump you. He will definitely be on opposing coaches' minds when it comes time for him to step on the field. Derrick Robinson - Penn State fills a team need and necessity. With young quarterbacks, a tight end can be your best friend. That is what Robinson might end up being. The talk around Happy Valley is the fans are excited and anxious to see what Derrick can do. Robinson isn't a big tight end but that is why he is deadly. At 6'3 232 pounds with 4.62 speed, he can line up where you want. In the slot or in the traditional tight end position. What makes D-Rob so special is that he is a complete tight end. Not many at the tight end position can say they have the ability to do both blocking and catching. This man can! James Key - This dude is just plain scary. Being quick and fast at the defensive end position is key.(Pun intended) With 4.54 speed, the skills to shed blocks, pursue plays and make tackles. James has all the ingredients in his arsenal to go down in Penn State history as the leader in sacks. With great quarterbacks in the Big Ten right now, Key seems to be a must have for the Nittany Lions in order to stop opposing offenses. We can't wait to see how good he is! Eric McGee - So, in order to run or throw the ball, you need to have good blocking. That is what Michigan is trying to do by bringing in McGee. From North Shores, Michigan, Eric is excited at the opportunity to put Michigan back on the map. He has great pass and run blocking skills but needs to work on his footwork. I think a redshirt will help him in strengthening those abilities and set him apart from his competitors. Rumors we have been hearing, fans aren't too happy at the fact that McGee had Ohio State, a big time rival, on his list and second at that. McGee is going to have to prove to fans that he is worthy of wearing the Maize and Blue. Matthew Horne - Horne doesn't have the speed that PSU's James Key has but he does have the techniques to get past the blocker. He might not be the fastest on the field but the dude knows how to take angles and pursue the ball carrier. Matthew has some work to do and we are surprised how high he is on the recruit list. One this is for sure, never judge a book by its cover. Horne could very well end up being a great football player.
Just saw this. Nice work. You had to exclude your Buckeyes in the top recruits discussion though. Pretty sure Emm had landed 3 or 4 .
wow nice CA
I got the information about the recruits from DW. So, I probably had the search checked to not look for my commits. Oops! LOL
Week 14 Injury Report
HB Jewel Hampton is out for at least 2 weeks with a high ankle sprain.
LB Lance Tillison has a broken tail bone. Sources say he is expected to be out for 2 weeks.
HB Brandon Saine is back from a torn pectoral and should be good to go next week against Oregon.
WR David "the traitor" Gilreath from Minnesota is back from an ACL sprain.
Week 15 Matt Barkley leads the USC Trojans into Happy Valley. The question is, will they be undefeated? Can they defeat the Nittany Lions? A lot will be on their minds as they try to punch their ticket to the National Title game. Two talented teams that met last year in the Rose Bowl. The Ducks want revenge while the Bucks just want another win. Darron Thomas meets Terrelle Pryor on the gridiron, who will shine?
Great work CA. I guarantee at this moment, everybody hates Iowa. I will have nowhere near the same defense back next year, so I expect some people to come hunting for me. I love the games I get to play against fellow bfr members. They are some of the best. Great season guys and GO BIG 10!!!!

How did Big Ten users do in Bowl Week?
Ohio State stands tough playing a bend but don't break defense. The Buckeyes win 14-12 over the Big 12's Missouri Tigers!
Penn State runs into a robotic offense in the Arkansas Razorbacks losing 59-42 to end the season.

Congratulations to the 2010 12-0 Iowa Hawkeyes! Coach Mike leads his undefeated Iowa Hawkeyes to the National Championship of the Bowlin' for Roses 2010 season. He will be representing our conference against another tough user from the Pac 10 conference in tuco418 and the 12-0 USC Trojans.
