With both Northwestern and Michigan State undefeated in the Big 10 through Week 9 things are getting very interesting. Because of a scheduling quirk Northwestern and MSU do not play each other, so the conference champion most likely might not be settled on the field. Week 10 games may be very important in determining who will be going to Pasadena. Northwestern is hosting Ohio State, while Michigan State will be playing Illinois. If both teams win, most likely we will see co Big 10 champions. However, if both teams lose it would throw the Big 10 title up for grabs with possibly UM, OSU, MSU, and Northwestern all with one loss. If one team loses, the Big 10 commissioner should probably start engraving the trophy with victor's school name on it.

Hova always plays tough so I'll say that Masler's Spartans suffer a loss and open the door for Northwestern. Both teams could very well lose though with NW playing OSU. We shall see.

The new update is cool, but I don't see what the huge deal is to be honest. It was needed, though, that's for sure.

Well, Northwestern couldn't uphold its end of the bargain losing to OSU 27-14. My lack of speed killed me at times during this game. I will have a write up later today

I wish more people would have voted or at least said something. I'm starting to hear the crickets in here I think...

If we both lose I still have the advantage since I beat UM and OSU

That maybe the case if the tiebreaker comes down between our two schools and OSU. However, if Michigan beats OSU, and I win out another tiebreaker may be invoked.

    Are the tie breakers correct?

I don't know, i think the new tie breaker system for the Big 10 is whoever is ranked the highest in the BCS, which MSU will most likely be if there is a tie
