The patriots and bills this season seem to have a bit of tension after some offseason brushes between the owners. neither team however let it get to them during the game and both teams were playing some serious football.

The first quarter started out with the bills young QB Martens throwing an interception on the 3rd play of the game. 2nd drive same result. leading to a 14-0 pats lead with 5 minutes left in the first. the bills were able to drive the field later in the half but settled for a field goal. pats were not slowing down however and continued to score. 28-17 first half score, patriots.

the 2nd half was a showcase of the bills defense that started to light up the patriots right before half, sacking jake locker 4 times in the half. "we just buckled down and played some football" said ray lewis right before going into an hour long media celebration. the bills were able to continually force the patriots to punt in the 2nd half. but the patriots didnt make it easy to catch up though, early in the fourth manny martens found Fred Davis on the seam for the touchdown that would lead to a sucsessful 2 point conversion to tie the game at 28-28.
with just over 3 minutes left the patriots offense seemed wary of what the bills defense had been showing them all half and was able to get a first down but ended up 4th and long and had to punt.
bills ball with 2 minutes to go, the bills kept their run first strategy and maintained an up tempo but not no huddle moving down the field, not really looking to score deep but to get into comfortable fg position, and thats just what they did. with 5 seconds to go MCadams sealed a win n a game that very early on looked like an unholy disaster.

good game pope, looking forward to seeing where our teams end up this season

Way to stick with your game Aaron. Those kinds of wins can really help your team find its identity!
