The Eagles came into the season as a after thought to powerhouses of the likes of FSU, UNC, and Miami. They quickly prooved otherwise after early season loss to KSU and rival coach JR the Eagles went on a 10 game win streak including wins over ND,FSU, and Clemson. The Eagles finished the regular season at a remarable 11-1 winning the Atlanic Division. The great season came crashing down to reality when BC lost the CC game to the hurricanes and then lossed their bowl game to SC.

Key players: SO QB Dave Shinskie, SO TE Chris Pantale, SO Luke Kuechly

The Eagles enter the season with all the major parts of thier offense back. David Shinskie will lead the eagles and their new offensive scheme that takes advantage of their WR depth. When CB Donnie Fletcher left early for the pro's it left the Eagles with no starter from the previous season. In all the defense will have 7 new starters including Freshman OLB Darrell Ball, CB's Courtney UNderwood and Robert Roach. Even with the lack of experience on defense coach BBJ believes this team can do great things and hopes to capture the Confrence title that came so close a season ago.

With a loss to Clemson early in the season took BC out of the NC title race the Eagles set thier eys on the ACC Championship that came so close the year before. Led Defensively by Freshman sensation Darren Ball and JR MLB Luke Kuchely the Eagles gave oppsing offenses nightmares. Ball made his prensence known early in the Ksu game picking off KSU QB and taking it 70+ yrds for the score. He would add another TD against Duke by stealing a pitch on a option.

Offense was led by Dave Shinskie and RS FR Shakim Phillips. Phillips opened the Field up for the 3 headed monster at HB(Harris, Phifer, and Finch). The offense was a terror on Acc Defenses. If it wasn't for that Clemson loss this offense would be considered alot better.

The Eagles made the season a success by destroying Miami in the ACC Championship in a rematch of last yrs CC. The Bubble of the ACC game was popped very fast when the eagles ended their season with a loss to oklahoma in the bowl game.
