MIAMI WINS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN BLOWOUT FASHION!!!!!!

Miami continued their unbeaten season today in the National Championship versus a tough Oklahoma team. Miami won the toss and deferred to the second half. On the 2nd play from scrimmage Miami would pick off Blake Bell and take it to the house for six. OU would score to tie it up with 2:50 left in the 1st but Miami would retake the lead going into the 2nd quarter with a 3 yd run by Fullback M. Hagens. The second quarter is where the lead started the grow with Miami tacking on two more touchdowns and OU settling for 2 FG. The second half was the Duke Johnson show, after being snubbed on the Heisman this man was running angry compiling 253 yards and 4 touchdowns. The strong secondary of the Sooners was constantly sound in coverage forcing the Hurricanes to stick to the ground and totaling 386 yards on the ground. In the end the constant offensive grind of the Hurricanes was to much for the Sooners to handle as the fell 56-23.

POTG: Duke Johnson 40 car 253 yds 4 TD

    ARKANSAS WINS COTTON BOWL

Arkansas and Kansas State played each other in the Cotton Bowl once again after Arkansas beat the Wildcats the first meeting in the 2011 season. The story wasn't much different as the Razorbacks deafeated Kansas State 41-21. Arkansas ran the ball all over the wildcats rushing for 226 yards and 4 touchdowns. Brandon Allen added a touchdown pass while throwing for 179 yards. Jonathan Williams put on a clinic rushing for 182 yards and 2 toucdowns. Arkansas turned the ball over twice and Kansas State did not commit a turnover. That didn't stop the Hogs as they controlled the entire game. Late in the 3rd quarter Arkansas was driving for another score to potentially put them up 38-14 but a sack that caused a fumble was returned 50 yards for a touchdown to make the score 31-21. Arkansas added 10 more points while the defense did their job. The defense for Arkansas was stellar, giving up only 279 yards of offense and 2 touchdowns.

The Razorbacks finish the season 8-5 and this win gives them much needed momentum to close out recruiting for their 2013 class. Coach Chandler Hamilton postgame said, "I'm really proud of this team and especially the seniors. After a season in turmoil last year, this win really sends them out on a good note."
Player of the Game - Jonathan Williams: 31 ATT, 186 yds, 2 TD

Mekale Mckay: 5 REC, 76 yds
Austin Tate: 4 REC, 41 yds, 1 TD
