Texas A&M 21
The Aggies, in their first match-up against Colorado since the Buffaloes left the Big 12, gave the top 5 Buffaloes a scare, but couldn't pull off the win. Colorado came out very sluggish, which could of been a result of them being the only top 5 team to miss out on a BCS Bowl this season. They settled for the Alamo Bowl and it was obvious that they weren't too happy about it. The Buffaloes were down 7-3 going into the end of the 1st before the Buffaloes put out 17 straight points to take a 20-7 lead going into the half. The Aggies would respond in the 3rd with a touchdown to cut the lead to 20-14, but Colorado would add a FG in the 4th to push the lead to 9, 23-14. A&M would score quickly though running their no huddle offense, pushing the Colorado lead to just 2. The Buffalo seniors stepped up though and got a few key first downs, and allowed Stevie Dorman to run the clock out to give the Buffaloes their 11th win of the season, and guaranteed them to have back to back Top 5 finishes. The Buffaloes will graduate their QB and RB for the 2nd straight season, but have their strongest recruiting class yet coming to Boulder. This ends another successful season, and another step forward to turning this program around for this young coaching staff.
