College football's bowl season is finally here! Of course there are the well known bowl games, but today we will be previewing all of the bowl matchups that look to be great games on paper.
And with that we will jump right into it, as we have a lot to cover today.

The LSU Tigers (9-3) didn't finish the way they wanted to after a loss in the title game last year, but they would like to finish the season on a high note. They will look to QB Zach Mettenberger to give them a bowl victory.
The Michigan Wolvorines (8-5) had high hopes for this season, but fell short of expectations. A bowl victory could make the fans forget about their shortcomings and remeber this game and the win against the hated Buckeyes. They need QB Denard Robinson to play his best in his final game at Michigan.

The Florida Gators (7-5) had another rebuilding season with QB Jacoby Brissett at the helm. They need him to play well in this one to keep the SEC bowl prestige alive.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers (8-4) had a rough season, but the BIG 10 was a rough conference. They want this bowl victory to launch themselves into next season with a wave of momentum. To do so they will look for one last big game from Senior HB Rex Burkhead.

Cincinnati (9-3) had a good season in the lackluster Big East. They need this win in order to prove the experts wrong that the Big East should no longer be a BCS conference. They need Senior HB George Winn to step up and "winn" the game for them.
The North Carolina Tar Heels (10-2) had a great season in the tough ACC. Their only losses came against #5 VT and #3 Miami. They can use this game to prove that they should be ranked to start next season. HB Giovani Bernard will carry the torch now and into next season.

Tennessee (8-4) competed hard in the SEC this year with QB Tyler Bray. The Vols want to use this victory to show the SEC dominance, once again and to prepare themselves for the SEC gauntlet again next season.
Florida State (11-2) suffered the same fate as UNC losing to both #5 VT and #3 Miami(in ACC champ). It proves the ACC is no longer just a basketball conference. They want to win this and come out ready for next season when this young team will all be that more experienced, especially Junior SS Lamarcus Joyner.

Washington (9-3) had a great season and looks to be back competing in the Pac-12. Their three losses were against perenial powerhouses. Junior QB Keith Price will be even better next year and wants to bring home a bowl trophy.
Clemson (8-4) was thought to compete for an ACC championship. Unfortunately other ACC teams were that much better this year and Sophomore WR Sammy Watkins couldn't do enough to help his team. He wants to go out with a bang in this one.

Georgia (10-3) was able to stay in the top 25 even though playing a tough schedule along while playing in the SEC. This was mostly due to QB Aaron Murray, who wants to win this one, and show off what he has in store for next year.
Ohio State (10-2) suffered two late losses in the season, but Coach Chris Farley will be more than happy to take home the Sugar Bowl. Farley said he has a special workout regimin for QB Braxton Miller and expects him to be a top talent next year.

Miami (12-1) came up just short of the NC due to a loss against FSU. They want to prove that they should be sitting in the NC. Look for QB Stephen Morris to use this game to show what he has in store for next year.
Syracuse won the lowly Big East, which still has an automatic bid. They probably wouldn't be here if that wasn't the case so they want to capitalize on their big chance on the national stage. They will need Senior WR Alec Lemon to come up big.

Oregon (11-1) had only one blemsish on the season, when they lost in the closing seconds to #2 Stanford. They want to win the Rose Bowl to prove that there should be a rematch like last years NC. Look for Heisman winner HB Kenjon Barner to lead them.
Virginia Tech also only lost once with theirs coming down to the wire vs. Miami. They also want to use this game to prove that they should be in the NC. Junior QB Logan Thomas will be trying to prove that he will be one of the top QBs in the nation next year.

Stanford (13-0) comes into this one looking like the team that always pulls out the tough wins. They will need to do that again here in South Florida to be crowned National Champions. It would make everyone forget about Andrew Luck. Heisman runner-up Stepfan Taylor will need to step up in the biggest game of his life.
Wisconsin (13-0) got a lucky break when Danny O'Brian transfered in the offseason. He has led them here and will need to put on the performance of a lifetime in order to beat the Stanford Cardinal and keep the #1 ranking as National Champions.
