Washington State comes up short vs Utah State 30-27

Down 30-0 Washington State came back to make it a game but a failed onside kick ended their run.

The injury to Connor Halliday really put a damper on our season, but were happy to put this season behind us and make the most out of next season...

Our goal is to sign atleast one five star or one good four star which could make all the difference in next year's team. A good example of this is signing :4stars: WR Chris McGee last off season. This year he led the team in receiving with 42 receptions for 980 yards and 8 TDs.

We also return 6'5" Junior WR Marcus Dotson who caught 45 passes for 793 yards and 5 TDs, and Sophomore WR Jorge Morgan who caught 36 passes for 777 yards and 2 TDs. Also returning is impact player Junior TE Brian Horner who spent most of his time at LT, but also hauled in 4 TDs.

Defensively we lose our top 4 tacklers from this season, but return impact player MLB Logan Mayes.

Next season is going to be very difficult so don't expect anything out of Washington State. We have 36 Freshmen on this year's roster most of them rated in the high 60's.

This biggest issues are on the defensive side as well as the offensive line and deciding which of the 3 current Freshmen will start at QB next season.

    Colorado 31
    Wisconsin 3

Colorado had a lot of momentum going into this bowl game. Picked to finish in the middle of the PAC 12, they won the conference, and found themselves just missing the BCS Championship game by a few points, ending up #3 in the BCS. They started out red hot on Wisconsin with a pair of TDS from Tony Jones, and a field goal to go into the half up 17-0. Wisconsin would stop the Buffaloes opening drive of the half and end up getting a field goal, but that would be their only points of the game. Colorado would add 2 more touchdowns, a pass and a rush, to put the game out of reach and would run the clock out for the rest of the game. The seniors had been here through some very low points, and it's a big step in the right direction, and a great feeling to see them go out on a high note. Colorado will lose their top WR, QB, and top 2 running backs for next season, so it could be a rough season. Hopefully a strong offseason will have these guys ready to compete next year, and maybe this type of season will have a few recruits that weren't interested in Colorado before, to finally have them on the radar.

Air Force knew my weakness. the triple option. they kept usign the misdirection and id get stuck on blocks or id run to the HB and the QB would keep it. it was a lot to handle. and they didnt throw! but luckily when they did throw, my Utes made plays! Their QB completed just 8 passes and then threw 5 interceptions including mcdougal taking one back to the endzone
The DLine also got after the QB well. Banks and Thompson each had 2 sacks and kruger and pela also added 1. Walker ends his career with a great game with 2 INTs while Johnson and Rowe had one each as well.

not a pretty offensive game. I was hoping newton would be active but he is still out one more week so Petit struggled all game in place. Im ready for some progression to get these kids ready to compete but am not going to get much from this years recruiting class. Luckily I redshirted a lot of talent

    Utah: 27
    AF: 21
