Good luck to everyone in their bowl games.

I think we have a shot to have 1-5 in the final rankings with only one user vs user game and the loser of that staying in the top5.

Good game. I wish my defenders had made the catches on all those dropped ints like yours did. Or my receivers could have caught something. Either would have helped.

Yeah the 2 early picks, especially the pick 6 for the first TD of the game put you in a big hole.

I didn't really feel that much pressure after getting up early. I opened up the playbook and tried to extend as many drives as I could.

Your drops were killer. Of course my DBs dropped a bunch of possible INTs after the first 2.

You did a good job of avoiding pressure. I only got the one sack on a busted screen play.

When you hit that screen for 74 yards I thought I was in big trouble, but I was able to play keep away enough that you couldn't close the gap enough.

You deserved the win. I just hate that my team looked nothing like the team that beat USC and Oregon. Especially on D. That read option play didn't do much when Oregon ran it against me but my guys looked completely lost against you. Anyway, I know you coulda made it much worse, but just frustrated that my team didn't show and it's probably because of my boneheaded early picks. I went in to it saying just be sure to take care of the ball and lean on the defense, but didn't execute.

Either way, congrats on the championship and a dominating one at that. Gonna be tough for me to get back the next couple of years I'm afraid. Losing a ton of guys, especially on defense. Thought with all the seniors that this could be my year, but the struggle makes it fun.

    THE NEW GUY!!!!

Coach HipHopp took over a scrappy Louisville team mid-season and molded them into a champion by seasons end. The team played one of their best games of the season, not because they put up gaudy stats, which they didn't, but because they came out and pounced on ASU early. The last two user games Teddy Bridgewater was the one throwing pick sixes, on the first drive of both games. This time Senior safety Hakeem Smith stepped up and made a huge play to score the first TD of the game. Once The 'Ville was up by 17 it looked like they could coast to victory. Instead on the very first play of the ensuing drive, ASU hit paydirt on a HUGE screen play for 74 yards. Great play call by Cmass.

However after that, the rest of the first half turned into drive after sustained drive for the Cards. The halftime score of 31-7 told a big tale of how the game had unfolded. Louisville played keep away all night. converting a solid 7/11 3rd down conversions. Most of the punts came later in the game when runs were called on 3rd down and came up short.

ASU and their tough as nails QB Mark Bercovici did everything they could to get back in the game. However, a virulent strain of the dreaded dropsies infected the recieving corps. Several solid passes were straight up dropped that would have extended drives and given the Sun Devils a better shot at getting back in the game. ASU recievers had 7 drops credited to them.

Overall it was a hard fought game.

I tried to mix in the read option early when you wouldn't be keying on it. Then, when Teddy B. went down I almost pissed myself. Luckily he was back the next quarter. That would have really changed the game. My backup is a totally different style of player. I would have had to keep passing because you started slowing down my RBs a lot.
