I agree Steve. And the thing about Forza is, they do a bad job of placing visible markers on the track or giving you the ability to use the track to memorize braking points. Most curves have signs on them approaching the turns that are only good for very slow cars. For instance on Le Mans, you need to begin braking WELL before the first markers for those chicanes if you're in anything over a B class car. The graphics simply aren't good enough (especially at high speed) to pick out small things on the tracks and use those.

Then there's the issue of bouncing around between classes... If you drove F class cars for a month then the braking thing would get easier... But when you're switching from D Class to S Class to R1 and all in between it's impossible to know where to brake without assistance.

Yeah that is one assist that I can not drive without....even though it is sometimes horribly bad in telling you when to brake. Especially on The Nurb.

Actually always thought it would be fun to run one night with this forced off. Use the same cars for a few races etc. I definitely think I'd come back to the pack quite a bit without that help. At least until I had everything fully worked out. lol

I know that nobody will want to do this... But this Sunday morning a few of us at the Forza Forums are running a 50-lap endurance race on the Nordschleife, starting at 6 a.m. Pacific Time.... To answer the question... Yes, I'm fucking crazy.

Pretty sweet. It took me 5:44:48 to get through the 50 laps. If I ever do something like that again, I need way more caffeine.

Surprisingly, i Had zero stiffness/pain in my hands whatsoever, that was never an issue. Pure tedium, on the other hand....

Did you guys end up doing a group pit stop/intermission like another member mentioned earlier? that's just too insane for my tastes :S

Twice I parked the car on the side of the track and took a walk. Probably took 10 minutes total break during the race.
