BREAKING NEWS: Coach Fosh to retire!

AP-- In a surprise announcement from State College this evening, Coach Fosh of Penn State has chosen to retire after a couple seasons of good football with the Nittany Lions. His bowl game against Nebraska will be the final game of his tenure, and the coach looks to send PSU out on a winning note.

An announcement regarding the future of the program is expected early in the coming week.

Just to verify, jfosh is playing the Fiesta Bowl then retiring?

What direction do we want to go with a new invite? Any particular conference? I suppose we might need to keep a Big 10 team in the mix with the conference schedule rotation.

But, it would be nice for someone to take over Pac 10/Independent/etc. That would open a user game for the other Big 10 guys to play a user game outside of conference besides just ND.

I think the league as a whole should have some sort of input as to what direction we go as it pertains to the conference, which side of the conference, etc. I also think we should be given some heads up on who may be entering the league in case any of us have past history with the guy. You know?

Moving? Why would you leave GT? Besides, I have to make a trip back to Tech for some revenge baby!

I am probably going to choose a Pac-10 team in 2011.

I've been in the same league with the guy since last November. In fact JHeb, you already know him. That is all I am saying about the matter. The guy is more than sim, is a good participator, and is very easy to schedule user games with; he is a perfect fit for the league.

Hmmm, must be a guy from the Madden league I was in with you but I'd have no clue who it'd be...

Just wanted to thank you guys for letting my play a couple of seasons in the E-League. You all are a bunch of class act guys and run one of the best leagues around.

Penn St. went out on a sour note in the Fiesta Bowl against Nebraska 37-24.

Nebraska capitalized on a nice interception by their defense end to get the upperhand in the first half. From there they played SMALL ball. They offered up a barrage of inside runs, qb option runs, and short passes completing 15-16 12 of which were to RB's and TE's.

    GG Wildcatter.

If the new coach takes over Penn State they will be stocked full of very speedy WR's and mobile QB with a good arm for next season.

    Thanks again.

Next season I am I am going to be a BCS buster team, unless someone else strikes my fancy as a rebuild project like Army did.

Sim ball, great particapator, and a great fit for the league... and you didn't immediately think of the commish of that league... that hurts. :(

Hopefully this brings a sigh of relief to you then a cold sweat panic.

Ha, good one...No, I did think of you but dismissed it since I had no idea if you like NCAA or not plus thought you were busy with Madden, etc. Anyway, welcome and have fun dealing with Jello up there in the Big 10 (11).
