The Denver Broncos would come off their bye week and snap a 2 game losing streak in Kansas City, holding off the Chiefs for a 24-7 victory. The defense would show up early to set the tone for the game in the 1st quarter. The first big play would see TJ Ward come in and hit Knile davis off the read option, knocking the ball out and into the hands of DeMarcus Ware, who would return it all the way for the TD. On the next drive, LB Takoby Jackson would get an interception in the red zone and return it way downfield to set the Broncos up for a short scoring drive capped off by a TD pass from rookie QB Lindsay Clarke to Demaryius Thomas, putting the visitors up 14-0, still in the 1st quarter. The Broncos would add another TD pass, this time to TE Gerell Robinson to put them up 21-0 before halftime. Both teams would punt back and forth for most of the 2nd half. The Chiefs and Russell wilson would add a late TD pass to Santonio Holmes. The Broncos would only add a field goal in the 4th quarter, but it would be enough to hold on for the 24-7 road win.

These 2 teams will meet again in Denver in 3 weeks in the last game of a 4 game stretch of division games, which will go a long way to determine the outcome of the AFC West this season. Good game GovernedSpy
