All the moves that management made paid off last season. Some were frowned on by their own front office. The addition of Tyrod Taylor had everybody scratching their head. But Tyrod came in and managed the offense wonderfully. A eecond questionable move was trading of a young ROLB J. Sheard for a 1st, 3rd and back up TE R. Housler. This meant 29 year old Q. Groves would be the starter. All he did was have a Pro-Bowl year while compiling 17 sacks. Here's a preview of the 2015 season.

    Offense

The team traded both 1st round picks (31 & 32) to bring in big time WR C. Patterson and a 2nd round pick in 2016 draft. Patterson is a wr that can stretch the field and catch the short underneath passes as well. Free agent wr C. Gates will stretch the field and improve the special teams return game. The running game is anchored by T. Rich but big things are expected out of rb D. Scott who was bought in before the 2014 season. TE J. Cameron continues to improve and TE R. Housler adds quality depth at the position. The offesive line remains the same from the Super Bowl run. The offense is definitely ready to start the season.

    Defense

Defensively, the team had one mission - Prepare for future by finding replacement for MLB D. Jackson and ROLB Q. Groves. They did just that by trading

    Defense

Defensively, the were two objectives. Find younger replacements for MLB D. Jackson and ROLB Q. Groves. Mission complete. A trade with the Texans for ROLB Trevardo Williams and in free agency the lured MLB Brian Rolle from the Steelers. The 5th ranked defense fromlast season pretty much remains intact. A.Rubin, P. Taylor and D. Bryant anchor the front with quality depth behind them in RE B. Winn and DT T. McClain. The secondary is also intact with the addition on safety T. Nolan and CB J. Gordy. This team is definitely primed for another run at the Vince Lombardi trophy.
